I am guessing that is hugely off. By at least 30k.
sorry to burst your bubble but the quad motor 500 mile range truck is absolutely not going to cost $90k. It’ll be well north of that. I expect he is $10-15k high but thats before FSD. The quad motor may very well include all the other options the dual may be offered outside the cyberquad. Id love to be proven wrong but there is loads more tech in the truck now that when first planned including rear steer, entirely new braking system and most expensively, a 4th motor. Stack that onto huge inflation and an ever more demanding shareholder push and they wont be selling it for $90 even if it was profitable enough there.

Tesla comes to play.

Just throw out there the Lucid Air.

154k.

Tesla Model S Plaid? 136k. Shoot, non plaid 105k. That's far more apples to apples.

Tesla will under cut the comparable? Hummer EV by 25%.

What compels others to think it'll be so much more than 110k loaded Hummer?

All the points have been beaten to death. We know what Tesla has for advantages.

an extra motor is about 2k, and Tesla will not shake up the truck market with a truck only model s people can afford. they'll want to make a splash and get tens of thousands of these out there asap and make Ford Chevy and GM. etc cry.

All this new tech cost money. The more things change, the more things stay the same.

Tesla is vertically integrated and geared already for millions. These new tech products are just components and they will not be priced like hens teeth.
