Sorry to spam, but some good stuff here

the unit from today a cars and coffee appears to be the same unit driven by Musk at the TX lithium event (with roof rack)

I suspected as much when the videos from today showed the trashed underbody

but here’s the confirm:

that was the reason I posted the pic (y)

here’s one I hadn’t posted yet, with a different sort of detail

anyone else thinking what I’m thinking when they see this pic?

I have noticed this in seemingly every build. What is it? How does it make the truck awesome? Excuse my ignorance
We had this all over the interior of the cargo aircraft I flew. What's not pictured is the second piece of the system that we called the "car". That has a spring loaded round tab that goes into the circular openings. Keep the tab pressed in/pulled out (depending on the fitting type) and you can slide the car forward and backwards to any stop position. Release the tab in the right spot and the car grabs the ~trapezoidal tabs between two round openings. The car has the mount point (i.e. D rings) for nets, straps, etc. Very adjustable way of mounting things. Looks not very stout but it's incredible at spreading out retaining loads when you add enough cars. Not very tolerant of debris in the track or the car spring mechanism, but it is relatively straightforward to clean if it does get jammed.

Examples of various cars (they call them fittings):

Unfortunately this seems too small of an opening to accommodate a CCS port, which is required in Europe (and maybe other markets?). The only way I could see it fitting is if it was at an angle, which would be odd, but perhaps doable. Or is this really confirmation that international markets have not been considered at all?

Seems like both portions of the bed floor can be opened up. The one closest to the bulkhead is more likely to be for maintenance not storage though.

Looks like it did on the night of the reveal.
They're both minimal but the one from the reveal was very unique, it matched the radical exterior better. This one is more of the same.

This video notable for a first:

the sound made by CT doors closing (front and rear) … thwonk

the rear window rolled down a little when he tried to open the door. I wonder if it does that every time, or he pushed a button for that.

Charge port seem to have the same distance to a Tesla charging station as Lightning head in which was insufficient for a magic dock.

This in the bed could accommodate a male charge port to DC fast charge other NACS with a specially designed cable.

Yes, Snow, gravel, mud, etc.. Hopefully that gap is closed on the production model or I will have to to do it myself... Its going to ruin that lense for sure.

Can't you get an adapter? CCS to NACS?

The slack in the cable here seems to indicate that the tailgate can be lowered beyond the horizontal which I assume is for the ramp to be used....

Is there still a ramp? Someone here commented it was gone.

So when do we think there might be another Reveal Event to clarify new features and specs - and will the sledge hammer and steel balls be there?
