I've notice that the battery charge on my CT is dropping a lot faster than I experience on my Model Y. Last night I charged to 50% finishing at midnight before going to bed. At 6 AM this morning the SOC was down to 48%, a loss of 1/3 % per hour or approx 0.4 kWh/hour. Sentry Mode is off, as is climate control. It's repeatable. Has anyone experienced high phantom drain on their CT? Just thought I'd ask before I put in a Tesla service request.

This seems to be normal for CT at the moment. Did you unplug? People were specifically reporting drain if they were plugged in, after it had finished charging.

Are you using any apps accessing the Cybertruck other than the Tesla app?

The phantom drain seems real. It's also weird the "estimated time to charge" keeps escalating on Level II (6kW) charger - for example it starts with ~7hrs estimated to go from 53% - 90% SoC, but during the course of the day it ends up taking at least an hour longer if not more. My experience with MY is opposite - it always finished sooner than estimated. I'm not worried though - should just be a sw update from Tesla :)

Completely normal for a new launch. If one opens a service ticket. They will likely do a remote in and tell you everything is normal. Tesla will in the next 6 months get all the systems to shut down in harmony and figure out a balance between sleep and ready to go. Data as mentioned above is also part of it. AP data is being sucked up.

Same here, I requested service.

Same issue this morning. Charged to 80% overnight. Now it’s progressed down to 77%. Sentry mode OFF. Charge cable is still connected. Only checked with app 2 times and each time it immediately responded.

Root Cause: Cybertruck doesn’t have a deep sleep mode?

Let's change the wording a bit.... Cybertruck doesn't have a deep sleep mode yet.

It is everyone's own truck. Yet remember for most Tesla owners today the car they bought is pretty refined from an OS and efficiency standpoint (Y,3,) that's where the volume is. Early on in each launch cars are so different in the way they look on they screen to how they operate. Over time the updates will be there to change the various things Tesla said they would give us, and literally thousands of changes to the stuff you can't see for the next couple years. They will not all be mentioned. They will say minor bug fixes, and some they will tell us about. Like adjusting regen, making car go to sleep faster, and wake up sooner.

So I had and early X, and still have the 3. I saved my service calls a bit, for bigger items. I know some will say I paid 100k for this truck I expect them to jump when I say how high.

TLDR. The phantom drain will go away. One is helping via data, maybe not so much with service calls.

Updated my existing service request for other issues and added this. At least we might get official confirmation this is expected so everyone knows going forward don’t worry about it.
