I post Cybertruck stuff on the Internet and people like it.

Good frontal shot, I believe this means there was a third on site. This looks more like the unit we saw a last week that everyone argued was tiny and way shrunk down.

Lmao ……. “Off road” ?

“Hold on Bro, let me prep your “off road” “

They were protecting the curb…… yet it’s already full of tire marks lmao….

something tells me they haven’t really tested this beast for “off road” anything. Any other truck would have gotten up that curb with no issues or ramps ?

The driver looks completely dwarfed by the size of the truck.
Is it too big for the real world?

I’d say it’s more of a rear peephole

Perspective. What I see, is the vault cover is in the middle position (not fully opened or closed). It's 1/3 of the way down the bed and actually covering the back window. You can see the track for the vault cover and a small portion of the inside of the bed. The glass that is visible, is the on the top, over the back seats.

Am I the only person that noticed the blue Mercedes on display in front of the building?

The rear window is so small
You don't need to look thru that glass, especially if you have tonneau closed...they have cameras that display to the rear on the screen while driving or backing up.

The wiper does look much better in final form.

2 things.
1. The ramp was probably so the Cybertruck didn't absolutely crush the curb! LOL
2. I'm confused about the video quality. Why was this video NOT shot using a potato? I mean, I'm used to seeing videos and pics of the Cybertruck all blurry. I mean, kudos on swinging the camera around like a drunken sailor but still, the quality is good enough to actually be able to grab screen shots.
It all makes sense. Just believe.

There are two (alpha inside, beta outside), this is the same beta truck you see in the video you posted.

Was this at the new engineering HQ at the old HP office? EM said they'd have a CT to look at there. Hopefully we get more pics.
Correct

It was next to an early prototype of the Model S. Somewhere between the Roadster and Model S programs Daimler contracted Tesla to produce battery packs and drive units for a Mercedes product. Similar to the Petersen exhibit, some Tesla artifacts were on display.

Agree the cover is partially deployed, as better seen in this angle, and that it unfairly emphasizes the lack of visibility:

But still, there’s a reason the CT prototypes have a video-only rear view mirror.

It’s not as though the entire back end is glass, and that but for the vault cover being partially deployed there’s be an expanse of glass there to see through. different protos photographed below, and without any vault cover deployed (except in the purple photo the back window cover being partially up):

Then whatever the size of the glass, there’s the separate matter of that upswept tail end with tailgate and side sails.

To be fair to the CT, I can’t see much of anything out the back of my F-150 Lightning, either - that’s just modern truck design these days. That said, if I can’t see much out of the lightning, the CT looks like 1/2 that

all good - that’s what the video rearview is for
