I don’t think it’ll make a big difference for the Cybertruck. My preference is sticking with regular compressed air so I can do it at home.
Tires are very big with lot of air and will expand much in coming summer. N2 will do very minimal not the same like regular air. We're shopping at Costco all the time so just stop a few minutes to the tires department to fill them up.

Airplanes have been using nitrogen to inflate tires for decades but for people like me who had not heard much about using Nitrogen to inflate your car or truck tires here is a lovely article from Popular Mechanics on some of the pros and cons. https://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/a3894/nitrogen-in-tires/

Costco services tires Not bought from them now?

Only Sam's doing that with tire balance and rotation but they don't use N2. I bought tires protection from America's Tire/Discount Tires but I'm not sure they use N2 or not.

If I give a $h!t about $20 bucks then I wouldn't have brought the CT.

But you do you...

The normal air you fill up tires with is already 80% nitrogen. Paying $20 bucks for 20% more nitrogen is hilarious. But yes if you wanna be robbed blind you do you.

They called this "nitrogen conversion" and will do so at the Costco members request for $20

They offer free nitrogen at their air pump..I suppose I could go there and drain my 4 tires and then use the pump to fill the tires for free, but that's not how I roll...

Not nitrogen, but I used to use CO2 on my Rubicon. I didn't notice any ride difference, but it was nice to be able to inflate so quickly. Annoying to have to refill the tank though.

Yesterday I called 4 Costco around my area and they said they don't service Cybertruck yet. One store said they will contact the manager and let me know the outcome.

More important is tires balance and rotation. My $277 tires protection from America's Tires won't do it until I hit 5K miles + 1.4K at the time of purchase.

I've never heard of CO2. I'm lazy know to google it.

CO2 is used because it can be stored in liquid form which makes a lot more gas for the volume of the cylinder. That makes it especially attractive for bicyclists but for automotive use it goes exactly against some of the arguments for using N2 (CO2 could be more corrosive). I understand why N2 has become a standard for jets but I don’t buy it as a real benefit for normal automotive use.

Nitrogen is a real benefit for tires, it's not a gimmick, the only real question remaining; "Is it worth the time and money to go out of your way to use it?".

I don't use it, so that tells you that it's not worth it for me.
