Oh. I believe they had already removed the door handles by then. There will be no door handles in the final version.

The BAW looks different too. It is hard to take a good screen grab (stupid Twitter), but it looks like it telescopes now at least from rest.
Okay, BAW is starting to concern me. If these images have an ounce of merit, Houston (read: Austin) We Have A Problem

I bet $10 that the drop on the rear bumper underneath is to conceal a spare tire. Any takers?

Its tough to compete with a work truck without a spare. For personal use or play it may not be a big deal but for a work truck it really is important.

I fully agree.

The Cybertruck production reveal is going to be epic.

My guess is that they brought in the Giga casting machine under darkness to avoid drone camera footage.

If I blow a tyre on my motorcycle I can go pick it up with the Cybertruck.
If I blow a tyre on my Cybertruck I can go fetch another one on my motorcycle.
The perfect system.

What kind of motorcycle do you have where you can drive it AND carry a 35" truck tyre/tire with rim ???

Are you saying you can't?

It's not like it weighs more than someone riding pillion. Last winter I carried new tires for my bike plus winter gear plus my laptop and change of clothes and packed a hot drink on my bike to get them mounted on it at the dealer

I hope that contraption hanging off the rear is rated for dragging across rocks, because it’s really out there in the way of a decent departure angle.

Is it possible, this Tesla will have amber turn signals to the rear? Safety reports say they are safer but Tesla has not used them in the US. This rear short looks like... maybe amber over the red brake?

This tailgate design is not going to work (one piece tailgate that covers the whole rear of the vehicle) because it does not leave enough taillight area if someone drives with the tailgate down. One reason current trucks look the way they do is you have to have a certain number of square inches of light area that is visible with the tailgate up or down and there are also some requirements about how much is visible from the side of the vehicle. The center brake light also needs to be above the other lights (something like at least eight inches) and visible with the tailgate down. They will end up with a more conventional rear light setup to get past the regulators.
