OEM Vault Cargo Divider now revised & fixed by Tesla!

Can anyone else verify that the newer cargo vault divider feet have 2 rubber sections, one of which can be removed to lower the height? Mine does not, and does not fit (it’s too high). I want to try and convince Tesla service to swap my vault divider for a newer one but it would be helpful if someone else with a newer one could verify the feet are split can be made shorter in height.

I made a "warranty claim" per directions from my SC and got a new divider. I can confirm there are two removable rubber spacers on each of the "feet" so that you can adjust one or both sides' height. I simply sanded down one of the two spacers to get a perfect snug fit because removing one spacer gave too much room.

The SC told me to call the 1-800 number for Tesla and talk to an agent. Explained that I have an original version cargo divider, that i went to service and they told me that a new iteration of the divider has been designed to replace it, I told the agent that the SC told me to identify it as a "warranty claim".

The agent quickly understood the issue and told me they had to submit a ticket to the e-commerce team because she could not handle it directly. Within a day or two, I got an email from e-commerce team asking me to verify my mailing address and gave me a UPS label to ship my original divider back. Got the new divider inside of a week.

Getting through Tesla phone jail to get an agent was the most difficult part of the whole thing. There isn't a clear option in the menu for what I was asking for.

So I went to to order page and hit "contact us". Within 30 minutes they alerted me that they are shipping me the latest revision of the divider!

Well this worked. Got a person when calling and they said they would send an email in 3-5 days. Already received the email of the re ship of the vault divider to the latest version. So if anyone has the old one and wants the revision then this seems like how you can get it under the warranty of this product

I just emailed their shop support and within a few days they’re already sending me my replacement. Thank you for everyone in this thread who brought light to this issue.

I am undecided between the bed divider and the six storage bins.

For those of you who put groceries in the bed, what do you recommend? Pictures of your setup?

I think the bed divider +tuo or four storage bins are the best combination

Is there a time limit for requesting a new divider? I ordered and received revision 1 back on 25 July of last year. mine only works in the area over the smugglers bay. I did remove the aligning spacers inside the telescoping ends and can make it work anywhere, but would rather have the revision.

Just installed the new divider. The old divider was purchased in July, 2024.

The new divider is much easier to move around - once I removed the ‘extra’ rubber foot from the bottom. Easy to do, just remove two small bolts.
