I am undecided between the bed divider and the six storage bins.

For those of you who put groceries in the bed, what do you recommend? Pictures of your setup?
I don’t know that the 2 are comparable as the bins have lids but even if you went with just the bins you still would want the divider to keep them near the tailgate I would think. I really like the divider to keep my golf clubs near the tailgate or my tool boxes as well as groceries. I do a few bags in the trunk and the rest in the bed. I keep 2 bins on the opposite side by the window full of other tools and stuff . I’m sure you will be using the voucher but the storage bins at Home Depot seem to be the same just yellow tops for a quarter the price.

It looks like Tesla has redesigned both the bottom of the divider, and the feet itself! I saw that there was a seam on the feet so I thought maybe I could trim it down a bit - turns out I didn't have to. As you can see in the photos below, the feet are now all rubber and have two sections. The smaller section is about 1/4" thick and is designed to be removable! I unscrewed the bolts with an Allen key and sure enough, the smaller section pops out and I installed the bolts back in.
Thanks for the update. Great info.

FYI, for those considering purchasing the divider now (and expecting this "updated" version), the Tesla shop now shows images of the divider feet that seem to be different than the new ones shown by the OP.

The whole foot appears to be removable, but I don't see that any foot sections can be removed to adjust height (hard to tell from shop image). Don't know if shop image is of the "old/original" style, but it does not look like the "new" one posted.

Be good to get some clarification on what version is actually shipping now.

I feel for the designer of this product. That's at least 3rd version. I bought the original one, worked fine for me, then without notice they sent me another one - redesigned. Also works fine. I hope they don't send me a 3rd one now ?
If anyone wants my original one (which worked just fine) and is in the Bay Area, just DM me, happy to gift it to you.
So how to you go about asking for a replacement ? Tesla makes me crazy with contacting people ? Do you need to do a service deal or do they make t nice and easy and you can some how contact them to ask ?

No idea, I never asked for it. They just sent it, they could've at least asked me if I needed an updated design and I would've said no because the original one works just fine on my CT /I don't use a cargo mat if that matters/. So no idea, you can try through the app though and message the SC.

But my service center sait everything was fine! And that the 3d printed parts needed to make it fit with difficulty was just fine and didn't warrant anything. "It's supposed to be that tight and sturdy" No revision coming etc. Just deal with it. So now I have to pivot one side in then sit on the other to get it to settle deep enough to get it in.

I gotta love it. My OG divider fits but no thanks to Tesla.

The bed will 99% of the time be used to haul groceries. Not trying to flex. ?

100% the vault divider.

I have mine set just ahead of the gear locker, so I can open the gear locker without moving the divider.

Works great for Costco runs, etc. I stash those foldup crates in the gear locker and take them out to keep things from flying around.

About 6 weeks ago, I took mine the the Tesla Service Center on Ridgepoint Drive in Austin. Somehow, they made my original divider work. They said they "cleaned some stuff out" under the bed. Now it works pretty well. I only hope is stays that way.

I took my cyberbeast into the tesla service center on Wednesday 10/16/24. To fix this issue with my cargo divider. I was told that it was a common problem, and they had a solution in place and my problem would be resolved and the divider would work as intended. my truck was there most of the day. when I picked it up they brought my truck out " ok sir all of your concerns have been addressed and resolved and ushered me away. They looked so confident about it that I didn't bother checking, got home and sure enough the problem still exists. All they did was try and force it in unsuccessfully only one side was in the track. All this after I made it clear that I would rather not bring it in if all they are going to do is forch it. because I can do that myself any 200 bls gorrilla can do that I dont need a service center for that. Even after they assured me that it wont happen IT DiD THATS WHAT HAPPEN THEY TRIED TO FORCE IT AND FAILED . Now I have another appointment today. well see how that gos?

I agree with this. The divider is able to provide a movable backing if all is need is quick access to a small bed area to place items like groceries while still providing the ability to place bigger and bulkier items behind the divider.

Lets keep it simple and cheap here. No sense throwing good money at an easy and inexpensive task to complete and to be very functional for all needs.

As you can see by the pictures I got the 27 gal containers from Sam's Club at about $9.00 each. You could get the 40 gal size for $20 but these were big enough for me. I only use them in the truck to store stuff to keep it dry just incase of rain or melting snow. They work perfectly and I can easily slide them back to the tailgate under my sectional netting fill with whatever.

I also use a " Cargo Bar for Pickup Truck Bed 48-70 Inch - 1.1 Inch Diameter Alloy Steel Heavy Duty Cargo Bars - Adjustable Truck Bed Cargo Bar - Truck Bed Accessories from Amazon $29.99 to keep the storage boxes from going all the way forward. A lot cheaper than the Tesla bed divider and more versatile as well.

The optimal item is the 3-Pocket Bed Net for Cybertruck by https://ev-vida.store/products/bed-net-for-cybertruck make sure you select the 3-Pocket NET. The pockets allow you to just drop your groceries into the pockets of the net and fill it up across the back of the truck bed. Beware of other bed nets that don't have the pockets in them. They aren't good for grocery runs.

Also you don't need to buy the L-Track cargo clips from Tesla @ $25 for two. Just go to Amazon and take a look at the weyleity L Track Single Stud Fitting with Round Ring | 10 Pack Aluminum Keeper Cargo Control for Airline Track Logistic Installation 4000LB Capacity (Blue) They are easier to reposition, no wrench needed like the Tesla ones, and you get a 10 Pack for $16 bucks.

Just trying to save a little dough here so I can upgrade when v2.0 comes out. Bigger battery, air conditioned/heated bed area, Opening from bed to back seat for L_O_N_G items, better way to get in/out without having to s_l_i_d_e your butt off the side of the seat. I don't know how long my seat is going to hold up.

Anyway, Happy Tails...
