Wow, okay, so the new one's frame is actually 1/4" shorter. This one tapes out at 16 5/8" not including the legs. (Sorry I took the photos one handed so they aren't great but I measured more carefully)

EDIT: I was looking at it on my phone, without my reading glasses on! Ignore this. lol

Are my eyes playing tricks on me? That appears to be 14 5/8 inches tall. 14 inches and change versus mine that is 16 inches and change. It appears to be roughly a full 2 inches of play now!!!

Sanity check please.

BAAHAHAHAHA!!! I was looking at it on my phone, without my reading glasses on! Was looking at the wrong side of the tape. Ignore me. ?

I chalk it up to 'wishful thinking'... and old eyes.

Can anyone else verify that the newer cargo vault divider feet have 2 rubber sections, one of which can be removed to lower the height? Mine does not, and does not fit (it’s too high). I want to try and convince Tesla service to swap my vault divider for a newer one but it would be helpful if someone else with a newer one could verify the feet are split can be made shorter in height.

But the question is does yours hit the bed rungs before or at the same time as the rubber feet ?
I convinced them they sent a new one out it’s the same. For reference the new one does not have removable feet with a Allan they are rivits so they certainly are still sending the other style out, it wouldn’t of mattered the problem for me is the rungs hit the divider so there is no compressing it down

Ordered my divider on 10/16/24 and it came with rubber feet. Fit fine without bed mat; nice and tight and height is just spot on the L track. I wanted a frunk mat and found a set on Amazon with gear locker and bed mat for $70+ so why not. Reviews of the mat said it will not work with the divider so I thought I’ll just cut a section of the mat for the feet of the divider to make it fit. But since the divider have rubber feet and the mat is also rubber, I figured with little leverage, I can take advantage of that leeway without modification. Sure enough with a help from a single ratchet strap, it works and I positioned it so I can still open the lower cargo.

Can you please take a picture of the rubber feet so that we can see whether it does have two pieces where one can be removed, as well as Allen wrench fittings? One of the earlier posts said this was the case, however the post above says they are non-removable single piece feet with rivets. I am so confused… A picture would really help. Thanks.

I went into my past purchases from the store , it said it wasn’t eligible for return but I still messaged them they then asked for a video and or photos of the problem. Once I sent them about a week later they contacted me saying they sent a new one out. But like I said it was the same exact size and problem. I’m not sure if there is Actualy a redesigned one or some people are just getting lucky with one that’s a bit smaller
How did you message them? I cannot figure out a way to contact them through the store or my original vault cargo divider order. Tx.

Go to your app then click on your photo then click on “order history”. Go to the cargo vault you got click. Scroll down see if it’s available for a return. If so do it If not scroll to the bottom of that page it will say “contact us”. From there it should shift you out of your app over to the Tesla web site. Scroll all the way to the bottom press again contact us. It will now take you to page asking what you want to ask chose accessory’s then next box “return “ now articles to help you come up. Ignore them it will say at the bottom “do you need more help say YES! Then the page will pop
Up where you can send them a e mail , tell them your vault sucks and you want the redesigned one they will take a few days to mail
You. They will ask for photos or a video. I took a video. They accepted the return

then proceeded to send me the same damn fing divider

Here you go Djinn, it does have two pieces, a rubber base and a rubber feet held by two allen head screws that you can completely remove. As I mentioned, I ordered mine mid-October so its probably been upgraded from the fixed base.

You are awesome- thanks for doing that. Was able to get our service dept to request a replacement from Tesla, so fingers crossed they actually send me the updated one!

Got my new one (ill call it version 3) and this new one will fit the warped area ahead of vault locker. still have to force it in for minute measurements into the track but it works on all of the areas now.

I order mine last August, v1 I guess, and it's been annoying to latch since day one. The return option isn't enabled, any one successfully contact Tesla and get a new version replacement? My service center said they can't order me a new one ?
