That is just one for the last 5 days and it is self reported ....Cutting FS around now satisfies "exclusivity" claim and practicability of production numbers to be delivered by April...
"Self reported" as if there is some other way to check the info in the tracker?

The only way we will know is if the standard invites start going out. Granted, I expect they will want some amount of gap between sending the last foundation invites and the first normal invites going out. That way they aren't starting to sell normal trucks several months before the last foundation series buyers get theirs.

The other factor to keep in mind is, there are certainly going to be some cancellations that they will need to fill. So, in favor of your theory, it's also possible they are still sending out invites, but only to fill the cancelled slots.

Only someone that has no means of communication with the outside world at tesla knows the truth, lol.

I think FS will stop (or already have stopped) after being offered to orders placed on day 1 and 2. That would be around RN11285XX rewarding very early adopters with the "exclusive" FS...According to the tracker there is no new invitations received after 1/23
If new invitations go out weekly then you have to wait at least that long before making such statements. Also, if indeed conversions drop as we move further away from the unveiling event reservations, then Tesla may need more time for people to respond. Bottom line - I think your claim is premature.

point of process:

seems unavoidable that MANY people will receive non-FS AWD builds before the last FS Beasts are delivered.

so at least to that extent, things wont be quite so tidy from an optics perspective

I'm sure it will happen, I'm just guessing that they'll time it so that order to delivery is shorter for the first of the non-FS buyers than it is for the last of the FS buyers, minimizing the number that overlap. Not that we'd ever really know either way.

It’s called capitalism & I like it
Capitalism was not intended to support greed, which is what I believe the use of “milked” was intended to convey (not that I believe Elon/Tesla are trying to do that).

So for what I'm reading... looks like absolutely none of us normies who have early reservation numbers will get it on 2024, hell maybe not even 2025. Elon will continued building the foundation series as long orders have been put on, skipping all of us in line in the process.

lol no bru

I'm a RN1128x and was invited to order. I'm waiting on a VIN the Jan-Mar timeframe.

To be fair, I am rarely referred to as "normal"

Sounds like you're upset that some people have the option to buy a special edition.
People seem to be forgetting that Tesla isn't holding a gun to anyone's head to force them to pay a premium for the FS. It's simple. The market will decide if FS is worth it, and so far the market is speaking loud and clear.

My friend you must be the first one that has mention that here, all those VIN assigned already looks like foundation series.

This CT journey has been interesting to say the least. CT design and capabilities has elicited a huge emotional response from more people than any vehicle in recent history. It is so cool, capable, a tech showcase and in the public’s mind affordable until the delivery event.

The disappointment many have expressed since is very understandable but has gotten out of control. Poor communication by Tesla has made things a bit worse.

IMHO the CT is a good value at projected nonfoundation pricing. Not so much in the FS form. The first 50k or so will go to the wealthy excited fan base at a premium. Get over it if you can wait.

people use the term “fuck you money” as a permission to indulge. Even if you can afford it who do you think will feel pregnant with regret when prices come down in 12 months?
I understand your point but value is subjective to each individual buyer and their financial situation. Those that have the disposable income to buy the FS may value having the truck more than the $20k premium. Also, if you think the price is going down anytime soon I think you’re wishfully thinking. If by down you mean the regular price of non-FS trucks, that’s debatable. At the rate Tesla is able to produce FS trucks today vs. the orders they already have, I personally don’t believe non-FS trucks will be offered this year. For the sake of everyone waiting for non-FS trucks, I hope they are offered. Will I be “pregnant with regret”? Not in the least. My buying this truck won’t move my financial needle at all and I don’t mean that in a braggadocious way. Someone can choose to wait 2-3 years to get the truck waiting for it to be cheaper and better. What we know about Tesla is they will likely get a better truck then than now, but there’s no guarantee it’ll be cheaper. Me personally, I would rather have the truck in my garage but I’m lucky enough to be in the position to get it now. If it is cheaper 2-3 years from now, that’s ok also. I won’t feel like I lost something because I would have had been enjoying the truck for that long. Again, I hope is that is is cheaper so everyone who wants one can buy one.

Theres also a bunch of Foundation invites that haven’t been converted to orders yet. Once people start seeing the truck on the road some will buy. So Tesla has to account for that when deciding how many new invitations to send.

"Self reported" as a potential outlier. You can't count on the same level of data quality among 1100 people. It is possible that the email was received earlier and not open or what not.

For example, 10 of those 1109 have self reported that they have ordered non-FS model. :) We all know it is not available yet.

I am still convinced the FS will not be extended beyond the first day or two of reservation holders. It stopped moving up the RN numbers for the last 7 days. The very few new reported invitations are for much earlier RN's.
