Regarding wraps and such, I bought a truck, I intend to use it as a truck. one of the best features to me is the HFS outer shell that I can abuse, so no plans to wrap or customize the outside.
I will bet that you will change your mind on it. It is not about the impact resistance. If you read the manuals and the requirement to clean it up every single time any acidity hit it (bird poop, oil etc) on every single day [as Tesla instruct you to do it] you will get tired of it.

I was clearly on your camp not to do any those as I just liked the raw look of it. However, after reading all the instructions, detailing videos, color changes even after a very limited usage and knowing myself not being the person who will every single day just clean it up Income to the conclusion for at least a clear coat PPF is simply necessary to enjoy my twice a months cleaning routine.

Headed to Plano, TX this afternoon to pick up my CT. I joined this forum looking for any information I could, trying to figure out when I might see my 4+ year wait come to an end. That day is today for me, and I hope it will will rapidly come for everyone else here. If you want to know something specific that no else has answered for you yet, I am happy to help.

UPDATES!

The truck is amazing.
I have been in more photos and videos today than the rest of my life combined.
Five members of my family have already driven the truck. Super fun day!

Pickup process was good. Tesla rep knew a lot and spent as much time as we needed, scheduled follow up services (missing items), called us a few hours after pickup and gave us her number to text anytime.
One other person picked up their CT today, the Plano service center does not have any others or know when the next one is coming, so just two for now.

Regarding wraps and such, I bought a truck, I intend to use it as a truck. one of the best features to me is the HFS outer shell that I can abuse, so no plans to wrap or customize the outside.
I have not weighed the tire\rim yet and have not tried sentry mode as my SSD is not here yet. I will post those updates later.

The sound system. The sound system.

Wheel covers and the screen for the sunshade. I also did not get the charger and power station as those will come through a different party that Tesla is connecting me with for the install.
Do you install PowerShare? Do you have Powerwall installed currently in your house?

okay, I know that some of us here are in the tesla cult... but let's at least not act like it's unreasonable to want to see a $100,000 vehicle before you have already paid for it.
That was not intended to be cultish at all. It just seems like there are a lot of peeps on this board lately that are unsure if they want to pull the trigger on the CT. The “I can’t sit in it” topic for one, has been beat to death here.

while it may not be unreasonable to expect what they’re asking for, such as seeing the inside of a $100k truck before they buy it (I agree with them by the way), the fact is that they cannot. And if they aren’t good with that, its simply not the right vehicle for them.

Thats all I’m saying. I’m ok with it because I had to buy my M3 sight unseen in 2018 and it worked out fine for me. That’s my experience. Hence the comment.

I don't disagree with you. For both my S and our Y, we were able to at least sit in one before we ordered. With that said though, this being our 3rd Tesla, I'm willing to submit the payment before driving off, but I will definitely be doing a thorough walk around before accepting delivery, we did this with the Y and were completely satisfied that everything was right/worked before we accepted the vehicle.

I thought all Tesla were delivered with a flash drive in the glove box?

Sweet ride! How’s the fit and finish on this one?
Fit and finish is really good. It is a solid, well-built car. I do have one tiny nit: the charge port door catches on something as it opens so you hear a little pop each time. But that is it!

When you picked up the CT, where you allowed to drive and exam the the interior prior to writing the check on the CT that you intended to purchase?
No. The money (or the loan) has to be there, and you have to accept delivery in the app before the door will unlock. I think if I insisted they would have let me drive it or maybe driven me around the parking lot, but that is about it.

You could be right on that. Just rubbing off fingerprints is a pain. For now, as is. But maybe I wrap it if it starts looking bad.

Do you install PowerShare? Do you have Powerwall installed currently in your house?
Installing Power Share soon. That comes through a certified installer. They have already been identified and should be reaching out next week.
