My theory is it was a rapid burst of photos stitched together to make a video. Like they had the camera on the wrong setting and couldn’t switch it to video in time.
Answer at the top of that Xitter thread.

There's a light in there. That would be 12V, but you'd have time keep the trunk switch open so that it runs when the frunk is closed. The 12V battery is right behind frunk backwash though, so nothing a small hole and cable can't fix.
I hope Cybertruck is a native 48V. They could mount a simple step-down transformer where needed right next to a 12V socket.

People often talk about specs, looks and price as a determinant factor of whether CT will be a hit. I think if some dude‘s kid hit his head on that corner the first week of release, end up on a wheelchair, that could have more of an impact on people questioning the whole design. Keep your kids away people.

3mm thick is not sharp. You couldn't even cut butter with that! :p

BTW, 3mm is about the thickness of 2 US quarters.

Rivian recently got rid of their 12Vs that were in the frunk and under the center dash due to "minimal usage by their owners" (per Rivian)?‍♂
It is the same argument that Tesla used for passenger lumbar support controls; not being used so save the money and get rid of it. The sad thing is that when you do need these features and they aren't there then you suffer. Maybe they should be options (though I know that Tesla doesn't really do options).

IMO, the frunk is disappointingly small for such a massive vehicle. I feel like this wouldn't even fit a full load of groceries.
It fits two adults, like a bench. I think it’s disappointing too, but apparently a shorter front end is better for aero and the turning radius on an EV.

Yeah, I have exactly THREE tools in my shop that use 220. The table saw (had to reconfigure it), the dust collector, and the spindle on my CNC.

all of them are BIG and STATIONARY..... they don't leave the shop.

What job site tools use 220? A welder?
You could take a compressor to a job site. Mine is 220. Welder. Plasma cutter. But yes, most tools would run fine with 110. The only reason I think it would be nice to have both up front is that you never know what orientation you need for the truck.

Were you able to take a photo of the paper/document in the funk? Looks like it might be the typical vehicle sales documentation. Were you able to figure out what that polygon shape thingis in the near corner? Mounting hardware? Not complaining (much) but there's a lot to see under the hood that could have been shown in more detail.
I didn’t take the picture

but I believe that document has jump start info on it. As well as the technical ratings of Cybertruck since it is an RC build. That’s a guess on my part.

This paper appears to be legal 8.5x14

puts Frunk void height at ~16” and depth at floor centerline at 18”

Puts CT Frunk volume at roughly the following footprint, but a ~bit more dramatic height slope forward from the max height at back wall:

809B72D5-1C68-433F-B32D-09AD21C27832.jpeg

or as gone over (to death) before:

81D54A7F-2011-4C29-B0AE-E43182112000.jpeg

about 1/2 to 3/5th the volume of a Lightning Frunk, but the preferred usability of either depending on the need (eg since the shapes are different, they’ll fit different things differently)
I was kinda on with my guess!!! Woah

I had guessed 14x16x68 but I am not sure it’s quite that wide. Also the kidney shape subtracts some. I had matched 11cubic but maybe it’s more like 9.5?
