The actually exceeded the
This is why I am so excited for the emotional reaction of cancelling!!! Keep it up people! When my time comes in 1.5-2years (probably), batteries could be better, price and range could be slightly better, early issues figured out… and all those will be kicking themselves for their emotional impatience
That's what separates the boys from the real men! Just joking, more likely the crazy people to the smart/normal people. I'm in the crazy end. Couldn't wait until my neighbor got the CT before I do. I might hurt something.

I wouldn't say that. My dad was a factory worker the second half of his life. A lot of people at his work make "dumb" decision/sacrifices to have the nice truck/Suburban, Challenger.

Lots of people out there driving a Raptor or TRX or an F150 Platinum. Those are 85-100k. WIth 10mpg. They are definitely not doctors.
No doubt, I'm not saying people don't buy vehicles out of their range- in fact that's my own situation.

If dual motor that I reserved is over $60k I'm out. And I need a truck in 4 months when my lease is up. I'm a sub 10k reservation holder. With interest rates where they are, I won't buy a truck for over $60k, just not in my budget. And I won't spent $61k on a base model CT, just not worth the money in my book. I'll buy out the lease on my $60k Silverado before I spend $61k on a base CT but it's a year away and I can't do that. I need a truck for my business in 4-5 months

Just a thought.....you could buy the CT with a 'friend' and mothball it for 12 months or earlier. Sell it if you want to keep the ICE Truck! That early res has some value. imho

I live in Canada and the pricing isn't on our Tesla website even though we are considered the same NA market.

The exchange rate between the CAD and USD is about 1.36 (CAD/ USD) but when tesla prices its cars in Canada it is usually 1.41.

Even with the scaled down duel motor which is fine with me, at 80 K USD, no federal grant and our 13% HST tax, I am looking at 126 k CAD. Too rich for even a tesla I am afraid.
In Toronto as well and do fear this will clip over $125k for the dual motor. I will still go for it:)

wonder when we will get one in a showroom up here.

With official pricing announced today I predict Tesla will be a bit shocked at the number of $100 Cybertruck refund requests coming their way in the next few weeks.
Yes plz! Im loving this, moving up the line for a competitively priced EV truck (dual motor) that's still got all the cool perks I've been excited about for 4 years.

I’m one of those people who always believed the first announced prices were too low and I still think it’s a bargain. I’m still driving the S I bought in 2012 and am due for a new car.
I should be in first 5000 so I’ll definitely be taking delivery. $100k is cheap for cyberbeast and 80 will be cheap for awd.

1.5 seconds. 2.6 to 4.1

It is huge. I love to destroy 911's while towing my neighbor's broken down 911 to the shop. No, that is HUGE in the performance world when you consider how many decades went into making Porsche Top-of-the-Line, bar none.
let’s not get too hyperbolic

the Ct beat *a* 911, not one of *the* 911s, in a straight line race. There are 6-7 911’s (in 2023) that a Ford Lightning would beat.

And ~4 911’s (in 2023) that would match or beat the CT even in straight line.

but in any event, 911s aren’t straight line speed monsters - they’re sports cars

Every 2023 911 would eat a Cybertruck alive on a track or mountain road

When I see these marketing stunts, my first reaction is “who buys into this stuff?” Then forum

In 19 trims, only the very highest Turbo S trim can keep up, but not beat a beast Cybertruck at 2.6 0-60. At $230k, and 3,636 lbs, not even close since the Cybertruck weighs almost twice that and still keeps up at $130k lower price. Porsche has had an 80 year head start. Tesla wins in 4 years with a huge truck.

After viewing many of the reviews, I am super impressed by the CT. Dual, awd is going to set me back $72.5K after fed tax credit, but I believe it is well worth it. Friends just priced loaded Rams & F150's and reaching $80K all day long. And the Lightning is out of sight price wise. There is nothing that can touch the innovation and high tech machinery of the CT. In my opinion, it will be turning heads for years to come. Go for it !

Some are mad about the price. Performance costs a lot. Porsche 911 that ties this truck costs $230k. The price will come down in a few years, just as the Plaid was $135k, now $90k. Don't like the price? Wait a few years, or buy a Tacoma.

The AWD Cybertruck is competitive with the R1T large battery pack.

The 2025 RWD Cybertruck offers the best bang for the buck at $61k.

It's neutered to the point of a minivan powering that thing
