Protectaclear by Everbrite Worked Amazing!

The process took me a total of 4 hours. Prepping my Cybertruck took the most time. I was meticulous and really got it cleaned, taped off everything, then got to the application. I could’ve cut my time by 2 hours if I did not tape off. It wasn’t necessary. Removing the the fenders was easy- popping then off from left to right.

The actual @ProtectaClear application was easy. If I did it again, I would do 1/2 the truck, then watch it dry, wiping off any drips. I did have rainbowing after it dried. I noticed it the following day. Afterspeaking directly to Jackie at Everbrite, she reassure me I could go back and touch up those areas by just cleaning the surface with warm water, let it dry, and reapply. No stripping needed.

My truck looks epic! A nice shine, solid look, and it took away any of the small things imperfections I had.
I would give this product a must purchase and apply if you love the stainless silver and don’t want to dish out a lot of money on a wrap.

I'm convinced that the darker banding at the door edges is caused from heat when laser welding the door skin to the door shell.

Looks really good, hopefully more positive reviews like this come in. I really like the stainless look as well and want to go this route, however I'm not sure my skills are enough to make it come out looking this good.

I find this truck so easy to keep clean. This is huge reason I bought this truck. I can wash and dry it in 15 minutes. Once you know how to get handprints off, it’s pretty easy to keep clean. Being a bit OCD, I rub hand prints off my model 3 all the time.
So, I tried something with Protectaclear today. I taped off a small area where handprints commonly occur and I protectaclreared it. This gave me a small reversible experience as well as seeing how this will look. Early evaluation-the contrast between the 2 areas is likely to be more obvious than handprints. I will likely move forward with the entire surface when I get time.

No clay bar. Barkeepers More, winder with ammonia, and denatured alcohol. I went through about 15 microfibers towels.

A little more than 16 oz. Get a 32 oz bottle. You may need to do touch ups after.

That is the first thing I look at on every Cybertruck to see if it is just mine. They all have it. When they gave Sandy the factory tour they talked about how much time it took to dial in maximum material welding depth without showing any weld marks on the exterior surface. I think they compromised a bit by letting discoloration show. I for one am happy to have the stronger welds ?
