First, I learned a 50 cal will penetrate the stainless steel. Now I learn there will not be a range extender. Next will be the fart button being taken away. Clearly this was a terrible, terrible purchase.

Lol. I don’t have to since I literally cannot see any of his posts. Not because I’ve muted him or anything like that but because either he requested or admin on their own decided that we were too volatile of a combination so he literally does not exist on this forum for me!

I think they got tired of seeing this GIF, followed by a whole bunch of fighting! ?

I would quit the forum if you were blocked. I even have fun when we fight. You are hilarious.

For most, it's not practical to tow long distances in a CT. It's more expensive and takes much longer than an ICE equivalent. I just rented a truck to tow. I rarely ever do it, so not a big deal for me.
Correct and I don’t disagree. For an occasional (2-3 times a year) thing it’s truly not a big deal. That’s why I think the temper tantrums are a bit comical.

I was really looking forward to getting a RE. ?
I have a battery that was used with my rooftop solar that I had removed and replaced with PowerWalls. I wonder if it could be used …

Driving into the mountains with a trailer, across the state of Texas, and towing a trailer around to a bunch of campouts does not make this a “cruise around town” truck. Sorry, that’s just not right. But okay.

The most I ever charged was 70 minutes. That was so I could hit 200+ miles from Farmington NM to Albuquerque. That was dumb because I purposely went the more direct route with no chargers instead of going through an extra stop. That was my fault, not the truck’s.

Bottom line, you and I agree that if all you do is tow and drive long distances on a daily basis, then this truck probably isn’T for you. But just because it can’t do that doesn’t mean it’s just an around town vehicle.
Maybe not but it’s not much more than that without reliable charging or more range. I’ll just keep saying it, I literally have places in my state that I cannot drive to in my Cybertruck because of lack of infrastructure and it’s limited range.

Lots of places that I like to go in my surrounding area even without towing I’m looking at returning with 30% or less (from a 90-95% start) on a round trip to the destination with no additional exploring at all, speeding, joyriding, deviations or anything that you’d like to be able to do when you’re exploring off road. If there’s snow or any challenging terrain that’s gonna burn up more energy, forget about it!

It may not turn my cyberbeast into a 100% “around town hound,” but it’s pretty dang close.

And to get an extra 20 miles , I priced a 2 Wheel Dr. out yesterday. It came to $80,000. That’s insane. To get 340 miles of range. I’m debating on the 2024 foundation series all-wheel-drive cyber beast for my second truck getting ready to pull the trigger. What is encouraging me as the free lifetime supercharging! That would be a game changer in towing! For me anyway , my current FS Beast does not have free supercharging

I’ve been saying this! I am almost positive there will not be a 2027 Cybertruck… if they don’t cancel the program this year it will be early next year… which I am fine with. I love my truck and want it to be special!
I would agree....but Im worried about the support. Even now, I find it hard to get my service center to look at anything on my truck without them saying " Its normal"

Another owner headed here after receiving the same email. I thought it was a long shot but I was hoping to use it to store excess solar for home emergencies as well as the extra range for the back country. Bummed that it came with an email that said nothing more than “sorry, not sorry”.

My cancellation prize was that my light bar number finally came up after almost a full year of waiting just last week. I had assumed that was also going to be abandoned.

I got my light bar in February. All I did was ask in the app. Made the appointment for four weeks out so they can actually get it then mudflaps for free. They adjusted my wiper arm, put an extra slat in the condo cover.,

Remind me, what state do you live in?
