It looks like Tesla removed the $7,500 Tax Credit "Probable Savings" for the AWD Cybertruck, from the Cybertruck Ordering Page. Wonder why they removed it?

Because non-Foundation series likely will not be offered this year.

Also, depending on demand, a sub-80k Cybertruck may not exist ever. Remember, prices other than Foundation are just estimates

I believe that they are in a little flux right now. I wouldn't read much into it. It's safer to not list it than to list it and be wrong.

Yeah, this.

It's hard to say whether the tax rebate will be available when new orders are delivered, with a million-unit-long waiting list.

Just throwing it out there. I think the dealer gives the $7500 credit upon purchase starting in 2024 and it falls upon the purchaser to prove to the Feds that they are qualified.

maybe that why it was removed form the website? I’m thinking it doesnt fall on the manufacturer anymore but I maybe talking outta my ass.. ĀÆ\_(惄)_/ĀÆ

I think it'll come back when people are buying non-foundation series trucks.

yes but it’s the dealer who has to make the determination of the qualification of the vehicle, with the application being submitted and approved/denied by the IRS on the spot.

only left to the buyer is whether they’ll owe it back to the IRS after tax season

regardless, I think it’s changed on the site merely to reflect the fact that Tesla isn’t yet selling the non-FS cybertruck trims, and hasn’t in 2024 applied to have it listed with the DOTreas.

And yes, whether or not you have no plans to ever change the price, as a matter of good corporate form you don’t advertise a final price until the day you’re willing to commit to sell one - no upside in getting out over even trusty skis.

Tesla indicated that they were still working on getting setup for this and it might be a few weeks.
