Spotted by @heliospotentia in California with a look at the sun visor in use and the CT's brushed / satin stainless vs a tanker truck's polished mirror stainless steel.

Hmmm, methinks the tanker is actually aluminum. Big diff between aluminum and 30x stainless steel.

That sounds reasonable, but all the sources I can find say they're stainless steel.

My uncle owned a trucking company here in SoCal for decades before he passed. I have spent more than one summer day inside a food tanker cleaning them out. They were SS because the aluminum changes the flavor of high acidity juices.
