I'm gonna pull up next to F-150's at intersections, roll down the window, and yell "Nice truck! Too bad about those tiny wipers"
Jokes aside, your wiper may be longer than their bed.

Are you suggesting most of these will be sold in California?

California has a much lower truck/ resident ratio than much of the country.
My take on that comment was that if California has such laws other states might also, but more importantly people would just elect to leave them on regardless of where they live.

My BAW will be stored in the Frunk most of the time in Southern California.

You all know the song, "It never rains in California, but when it does it pours". Well, we can go for months without ANY rain. With the angle of that windshield and some RainX It will be fine. Then when I need the BAW it will be a simple install. (who knows, maybe I could have a quick release on mine).
I still need it to wipe the salt and pollen off.

Yeah, California is down to 15% of US sales of Tesla.

Still, more Californians can afford these trucks...

Do you have a scale sized Greggie Doll to drop in the bed so we can see how big the vault area is?

PS nice video, does a decent job of illustrating the point
Thanks much Ogress. I don't think people understand the whole camera phone thing unless it's duck face selfies.

I mean, they definitely adjusted, Franz said so. WHERE did they though? Seems more so from the front instead of the back. Which is the better choice. They keep the larger bed, the frunk gets smaller. I personally NEVER use my frunk in my 3/Y.... don't think Cybertruck will be all too different.

I usually have bikes on the back of my Model Y so I use my frunk a bunch. But on the truck it’s definitely secondary and I’d be fine with a smaller frunk. I doubt they dropped it entirely, but aside from some grumbling would be ok with even that.

Hope not, we need the spare tire to be hanging there. Plenty of storage elsewhere on the truck.
I agree the space would be better used for a spare tire, but if there is no spare, I would very much like them to keep it.

I doesn't look deep. I'm sure it wouldn't interfere with the spare.

LOL. Maybe I misread what Anionic meant.

I agree, it’s likely there will be more Cybertrucks in California than any other state.
Really, the point is that its likely a small percentage of the CT buyers will actually be legally allowed to remove the side mirror (or drive their trucks in a public body of water). So regardless of Musks claims, its important that the side mirrors look good and have features that people actually need. Currently, I am not a fan of the triangles. They may grow on me. I think the CT is going to be so popular that the aftermarket market for it is going to explode. So maybe some cool stainless mirrors will come along. I still like 95% of the truck.

This journey with the CT has been interesting for all of us and its been fun. I look forward to being on this forum with you all when we all have our CTs and the conversations change from fantasy to facts.

hidden ones are worse. even exposed wipers aren't great.
I have no other issue with the BAW than functionality. It needs to clear the window of any substance for driver and passenger views. If the BAW can do it I will accept it. Otherwise I hope that Tesla will keep looking for a real solution.

Are you not going to wash it every now & then?

Actually, when my vehicles are clean I will occasionally wipe off the morning dew. It only takes a few minutes in the morning.
