I think they shortened the SS good portion at the glass. It used to seem like the hood extended about 3” back further.
I believe that is the change which has helped to generate the entire "snub nose/steeper windshield/front wheels moved back" myth. It might have just been an aesthetic change made when the sills of the side windows were lowered. They're not lowered much - from an overlay I did it looks as if it's probably not even an inch - but that still moves the front "spearpoint" of the windows several inches forward.

If you don't move the front edge of the windscreen to match, it would simply look odd. Of course there might be some other reason entirely, but the position of the front edge of the windscreen relative to the side window spearpoint seems not to have changed even though the spearpoint HAS moved.

I'm so disappointed. I looks so small compared to that bus. I was assured I would be the largest thing on the road! Even that bike makes the truck look small. I can't believe they shrunk it so much. /s
In that case get a GM Hummer...

This is a very flattering angle for the truck. However the glare confirms for me that I want to put a flat black wrap on mine. I live in south FL with about 300 days of sunshine per year. That glare is going to be brutal for oncoming traffic. Hopefully one of my neighbors will do it first so I can find out if its too hot here for that. Maybe Ill do flat white.
Second to that, live in Miami, PM me once you do yours. Lot a places that do wraps down, very few really trustworthy

This is literally the first argument in favor of wrapping a cybertruck that I can agree with. I stand corrected on people's desires to wrap.

Never thought about it before, but yeah the CT skin could be really damn annoying to oncoming traffic in the blazing sun, in the same way that led headlights, or intentionally misadjusted headlights aimed higher for the drivers who don't care about blinding everyone else on the road at night, is.

I’ll have to link to this one.

The Electric Viking posted a video suggesting there was some kind of “divisive” last minute change to the truck. And it was all based on this “short front nose” complaint.

The truck has not changed in shape since the first of the year. We had this same illusion and same complaints when it was testing in Merced (Castle Airfield). They called it the “tadpole design” then. People complained the front looked like a mini van and joked about it being a grocery getter. This was… 2021? I think.

Same optical illusion, just people falling for it in the 11th hour.

Are there other shiny metal vehicles in South Florida?
