So it states in camp mode the cabin temperature can be controlled. So, is that for the interior truck cabin or vault/bed area? Would be absolutely useless if it only was the interior cabin area. I can see so many, "Honey, I'm cold I'm going to sleep in the front seat. Me too dear, this tent sucks."

Then there you go. Yet did you know there are vents out back wall to vault? Yep, for pressure management while opening and closing doors.
There are no air vents to the back. What you are referring to is essentially an overpressure bladder. Cars are not air tight

Those exist in the back wall of the cabin, not the back wall the vault

There is a gap between the back wall of the cab and bulkhead of the vault, in which gap among other things the tonneau passes

It'll reach vault with a saw, welder, fittings and sealant. As well as Bluetooth operated flapper style ventilation dampers. Not my first rodeo.

If you no longer want a tonneau cover, knock yourself out - I’ll watch that YouTube!

(That said, you’d also need some jumper fans etc to push/pull air to the vault - certainly won’t work passively - at which point you might save yourself the hastle and tonneau and instead replace the rear window with a solution.)

(separately, I hope you’re not going through all that in order to sleep in the vault?)

We have that then we have me. I'm a professional so it'll be done my way. #engineer #body sculpture #custom vehicle modifications and complete builds. You would know some of my clients. Maybe if lucky I'll send you a card. Make that truck great again. Good talk. Merry Christmas.

All good

just that basic physics won’t permit even super-you to both have an operational tonneau cover and also pass any duct between cab and vault in that location

No need for any card. I only sleep in my truck with blind drunk, at which point air temps are the least of my problems

instead replace the rear window with a solution
This seems like the obvious solution and is available for about every other truck.

A small outlet seam (zipper) of air down by the tailgate would let air flow go from the cabin out that "outlet seam."

thing is, this alone wouldn’t begin to condition the vault in any useful way

Imagine a 1,000sq foot 3 bedroom house, single HVAC unit/zone, and thermostat is in the kitchen.

now take out the front door, and then build 3foot hallway to a second 1,000sqfr house attached only to the front door

C, you need to stop! A lot of people are gonna be sleeping in the vault area. We have hashed this out before. Go check on all the YouTube videos of people sleeping in the back of their sexy vehicles.
