I’m in your same boat, picked up 3/16/24 and drive a lot. I’ve been driving my truck as little ans possible over the last several months, but now only a few hundred miles left in the warranty. My PCS hasn’t failed yet but I’m nervous since one symptomatic power failure while driving on the freeway in mid-October. My SC has always been great, but still concerned they wouldn’t be able to advocate for me under the current company policy.I’m sure they fixed the problem with the PCs. I can’t imagine they would want to do this again. Besides that would open them up to lemon law issues. I still think every CT owners bombarding the service department asking for this to be replaced immediately might lead to a voluntary recall. If there’s a recall everyone can wait knowing it will be fixed for free when it happens. No need to rush. But the way it is now, you can’t take that chance or you could be paying $4000 cause it happened out of warranty
Your car is still probably still under warranty. It's really upsetting because my car is under 2 yrs old. I picked it up 3/31/24. I just drive a lot. I really like everything about Tesla and everything that Musk invents. I just don't like the way that this is playing out knowing that they have a faulty part, but they're going to replace only for who they have to for and not make the situation right. And it's really us, the early customers that took the risks and put the trucks on the streets and had to deal with the bugs. I guess we'll see what happens soon. I'm supposed to pick up my truck on Monday, Feb. 2. I've requested that they escalate my situation. The tech said he will, but he didn't sound very optimistic. Will let everyone know.
