I read so much here on bad experiences and then other people that r total fanboys who think this is the greatest vehicle ever (personally I am closer to the latter). I would like to know what most peoples experience has been with their CT

Mine went in for cant rail recall and some fit and finish issues. They fixed the cant rail, said they fixed the other issues but didn't, and broke 2 mudflaps. 🤦🤷‍♂️

Greatest vehicle ever made, but issues with first run production. I'd hope they're all ironed out by now if someone bought a recent copy.

I held off buying once I saw vids about the cantrail, and once that recall became official (and 0% APR was the deal of the moment) I placed my order.

only issues have been:
-tonneau leaking that everyone has talked about
-frunk latching (would open but wouldnt close)
-and a front driver door issue that kept triggering the security system.

all minor, no issues since

just hoping that the pcs thing doesn’t come up at an inconvenient time or they turn that into an official recall.

and yes its the greatest piece of tech ever. get one when you can.

My experience was a few minor things. First 3-4 months i kept getting a "power reduced" error that just made it slower, after a couple of visits they got it fixed. I think I actually love the truck more now than the day i drove it off the lot!

Small sample size so far but considering all the bitching I hear surprised no total disaster answers yet

I selected no issues never been in service, I was not counting recall of the can’t rail, the minor things I found at delivery, self afflicted issues or new tires.

Something is wrong with my media system. I can listen to FM HD, but none of the streaming music apps I have seem to work very reliably. I've tried Amazon and Spotify, and they play for a while and then stop working. Media systems are typically the main issue flagged as problem areas in car reliability surveys. Pretty funny, the radio doesn't work in new cars?

Took the truck in for small things - took 3 visits just to finally address the leak in the bed, had a steering wheel click noise addressed in one of those visits, plus a creaking seat. The only serious issue was PCS failure at 5k miles. Otherwise first year of ownership has been awesome.

A lot of minor issues that I could live with. However, recent motor noise issue was unacceptable and Tesla couldn’t correct it. Worse yet, there are signs of a half-ass repair job last time it was in for a motor swap. So, I opted for a buy back.

I’m chalking it up as early build issues though. Replacement has been ordered. 🤞 the next one is built better.

I got mine in November 2024, so still earlier days. I did have the cant rail replaced as part of the recall, but it never came loose on mine.

I have taken it in twice for some vibration noises in a few spots in the cabin, it only happens on rough roads at highway speeds so only reliably reproducible in a few specific areas around me, unfortunately it's outside of where Tesla Service tests for road noise so they couldn't really reproduce it well enough to get it fixed. I'm thinking I might end up trying to fix it myself if it gets bad enough. There are things I wish were improved, like a washer on the rear camera or a different location for it than a tailgate that flips down. And some alignment issues on the stainless steel panels. The frunk is now so sensitive that if it feels the paper handles on a grocery bag sticking up it won't close. I can go on listing lots of little nitpicky faults.

But that is all very minor stuff to me. With how this thing handles, the capabilities it has as a truck and all the tech built-in, it's honestly the best vehicle I've ever had. If I can, I will never buy another vehicle without steer-by-wire, it's that good. When I'm tired and don't feel like driving, my Cybertruck drives for me. Everyone talks about how it has poor visibility, but when I get in my 2010 RAV4 with all the "visibility" through glass and mirrors, I feel blind compared to all the camera views I have on the Cybertruck. I can also go on listing all the things I love about this thing.

I can objectively see all the faults and down sides to this vehicle, and I agree with quite a few of the complaints you see with YouTubers (not all of course). But it's hands down the best vehicle I've ever owned, driven or ridden in.

Report gathering LOL. Hardly, i love my CT just curious what others have experienced. You read so much negative press and post about quality with some influencers talking about having to lemon law multiple vehicles I wanted to see what most ppl experience. I feel i have been lucky with ALMOST no problems. I probably should have polled by model year, it seems like most of the problems were with the early builds (foundation series).

Only complaint is the windshield wiper on mine sucks lol. It doesn't do auto mode well at all and goes off by itself for no reason occasionally. But overall, by far my favorite vehicle.
