“Next quarter” in Elon speak is September 30th.
Agreed, but you need to factor in the Tesla math on top of the 9/30/2025 - 9/30/2026

That's a proper & realistic estimate. ;)

For sure. I am hoping they reach to my number for FS in the next few weeks before they discontinue. If not, I will be waiting another 2-2.5 years
At current proposed prices conversion rates are probably 50%. Those prices won't change as long as there is a 2 month backlog.

2500 x 50 weeks (2-week shutdown) =

125,000 CT's annually.
Shanghai is popping out roughly 750 model Y everyday, and a better quality than Freemont.
I would expect Austin is learning from Shanghai and very likely to improve from the Shanghai benchmark over the next two years.

Yea that’s strange that they are starting non-FS Q3 when CB FS have a timeframe of delivery Oct/Dec for us 1128xx folks.
Ending soon means stop taking orders. They haven't even gotten any tactical gray FS interiors delivered yet. They could well be delivering FS until the end of 2024.

"Next quarter" doesn't end until September 30, and that just means starting by then. When have they ever been early? Who knows what differences there may be. They could be designated 2025 model year. There's some logic to FS being "limited" meaning all 2024 model year.

I’m just hoping I get a chance being a late(r) Reservation holder!! Hopefully they don’t just cap it at like 20k and stop.
I wish you all the best man!

Have patience guys, tesla is ramping fast and soon these trucks will be all over and the frenzy to own one will die off. Dont fall into fomo unless you can really afford to pay more and lose more.

At the end of the day, its just a car, a depreciating asset. By Tesla’s own math, they will build another 45k trucks by the end of the year on top of the 18k already built so 63k trucks just this year.
No fomo for me other than I am ready for the utility of the truck in my season in life.. would not like to wait for 2 more years. So absolutely ready to pounce on the FS if offered

I took the factory tour today. I looked at all the workers on the line. Looked a little young. Like right out of high school looking lol.

Only other factory tour I experience was the BMW in Munich. Those workers look older.

Not sure if this is the cause of the panel gaps lol

Gen Z.... The panel gaps are the least of our worries. :ROFLMAO:

I already have a FS order in...wonder if I can switch to non-FS and still get a soon delivery?

If I jump on the Edit button the moment I learn that you can configure non-FS, that might be my only hope.
