Cyber truck, 40% charge is not responsive to me. App won’t unlock it, key cards aren’t working. Stuck on a snowy driveway Truck doesn’t seem to react in anyway. Earlier the car had a message when I was getting out that “electrical system unable to support all features”. Yet it has 40% charge.

Any ideas? I tried honking the horn etc and nothing works at all. I tried entering in rear doors, passenger side, pressing the charging port button - nada. It is very cold at the moment but it drove fine today.

Could the battery deplete but not adjust the charge on app / screen? Trying to contact Tesla now.

Tesla unable to make remote access to the vehicle. It’s bricked. All my stuff inside it is unable to be accessed. They will have to bring it to a service center somehow - which isn’t available until Monday. Welp, this sucks.

Tesla confirmed it’s not a depleted battery on their side (sorta was hoping it was that but nope). Tow truck in route. It’s currently 9 degrees. Wonder if something to do with it.

To get your stuff out (maybe)
Pop the frunk with jump leads,

then jump the truck itself:

That is referring to the low/mid voltage system.

I had same/similar issue two software updates ago.

Bricked mid-install.

I regret to inform you tow truck to SC, then 2+ weeks as they troubleshoot'd problem, 1+week for High Voltage Regulator to arrive and install.

So fun

So fun.

You need to provide accessory power; jumpers to the frunk access and then behind the cowl to reboot the machine.

It's giving you a warning the low voltage battery isn't working correctly for some reason.

This is not bricked. Bricked means more than 'doesn't have power'.

I hope you're safe and the tow arrived!

Does this mean anyone with a 9volt battery can open my frunk? Guess I won't be storing valuables in there overnight.
The only conditions where the vehicle will allow the use of an external battery to force release of the Frunk are;

1. Dead 48V battery.
2. Vehicle unlocked.

This has been something Tesla has had available on their vehicles since the Model 3 7+ years ago... nobody is going to hotwire your CT and steak the stuff out of your frunk.
