Any issues with polishing/applying over the foundation etching? Would BKF “buff” the logos off?
None. Just remember do not use frequently. Not sure why, just told that.

None, made the laser etching pop a little more. Do not apply liberally. Minimal amount.

How long did that take to do?
Whole truck 30 minutes
Shiny ✨

please elaborate on the windex/polish statement
no elaboration needed, apply minimal amount in circular pattern, dries quickly, it needs to be removed as soon as possible with microfiber.. winded or glass cleaner removed the compound, or was with high pressure washer on each section or door panel.
This is what I did, there is no specific manual on how to apply or remove. Just do not get it on plastic trim or bumpers.

I understand why people are using BKF to remove the patina and get back to the shiny look, but from a day-to-day perspective, week-to-week, why not just use drive through carwash and windex (to remove fingerprints)?

Man, that rear door, is this the only angle it jumps out at you like that?

Again, no suction cup marks?

Also, no grain to the metal and no coating I'm guessing. BKF has no abrasives to worry about?

Awesome. You took one for the team! Thank you!

Did it mess up any of the plastic trim?

Im wondering in a real world situation where I will be using the truck in all kinds of weather throughout the year and many days will not be able to clean the truck and put this much time into it, will it just become a huge difficult task to clean off stains, bird poop, sap from trees, tar, road scum of which all will be in my daily driving experiences? I probably clean my cars once a month if it's not too dirty. Has anyone left their DeLorean outside and see what time has done? Need some non babied DeLorean's out there to share.

This is my point above. Run it through the car wash and use some windex if fingerprints are bothering you.

I'm assuming you need to wipe in a linear motion to keep the stainless steel brush marks intact. A circular motion is going to really mess up the finish with swirl marks.

No. It has a non directional finish. A number of posts about this.

I think I am going to need to add a DeLorean to the collection once I get the CT. Too cool. Maybe do a Chevy LS swap :)

Tesla Cybertruck Bar Keepers Friend steel cleaner applied -- result photos img_0117-jpe

Barn find. Stainless looks in good shape, but look at those fingerprints lol

This one is literally buried in biomass, but the steel is still shiny.
