In any event, I wouldn’t bet (or invest) on any of the majors signing up for thatAs an investor, this doesn't bode well for TSLA licencing FSD to other auto makers.
not that FSD isn’t a competitive platform; instead that an alternative that is even only 60% of FSD would be more attractive than licensing from a competitor, much less Tesla.
and it’s not merely a 60% competitor that’s around the corner.
some 800lb gorillas waiting in the wings, who unlike Tesla aren’t simultaneously a competing auto manufacturer
Tesla talks like it’s the only shop with millions of miles of data, but either Tesla knows that isn’t true or instead will be as blindsided as investors banking on FSD licensing.
for majors to not go with the other option(s), and instead let Tesla hold their chain, would require FSD to be a helluva lot more than it is now, or will be anytime soon.
