Mine is the same, if it’s a nice steady rain it works fine, but if it’s a little drizzle or any outside residue, it’s so bad
I mean there's plenty to love about the truck but there's so many small things that are just so terrible it sucks a lot of the enjoyment out of it for me at least.

I’m at the service center right now and asked to be given/sold a new wiper. Was told the wiper just needs to be broken in as new wiper “will just do the same.” Doubt it but will see.

Ask them to drill out extra holes in the wiper - that's what the SC recommended to me, and I'll have done next week.

I don't think I've posted here yet, I didn't find it. If I have apologies.
After the recent storms the wiper doesn't keep up. FSD and Cruise control will both disable themselves in fairly bad snowy conditions.
I think for rain it does work fine.
In snow it doesn't keep up and unless you turn the defrost on and keep it on it gets buildup at the front of the windshield/bottom and at the top up by the camera.
The sprayer is pretty pathetic and doesn't remove much from the top third of the windshield it covers, this also creates a negative affect for the camera system. I also went through a full bottle of washer fluid in a few days trying to keep the windshield clean.

The attached image is what the conditions were I was talking about above. Cameras don't quite catch it but it was pretty bad. I was doing 40 to 50 depending on how hard it was coming down.

Yup. Used to hit the bright lights and go pedal in my old F-350 to ZOOM with the kids hitting WARP SPEED!
It would be nice to be able to turn off or at least turn down the running light bar.

I tested mine. When I activated the wiper wash, the arm swung down squirted water (not much), wiped up (no water), went back down and squirted water and went back up. Cycled this several times with the same actions.
Huh. Mine only sprays while traveling up.

Yes the wiper is the worst at spraying and cleaning. Rain wiping works great

If anyone reading this has a perfectly fine and working windshield wiper, please comment. I have a theory that all of our windshield wipers are not working properly, but only the people living in areas where the weather requires a clean windshield often have noticed the issue.

I’m trying to figure out if it’s just my windshield wiper that sucks or if this is every Cybertruck. I’ve seen a couple comments from folks about the wiper and the jets that shoot wiper fluid. I live in the Pacific Northwest and it rains a lot as well as the roads are just damp and dirty. What I’ve noticed is that not only do the jets not properly spray fluid over the entire windshield, But the wiper itself doesn’t really contact the windshield near the top of the wiper. It’s acceptable for the driver even though still about 30 to 40% of the viewable area remains dirty. But the real problem is that the area that doesn’t get enough windshield wiper fluid and the wiper doesn’t fully contact the windshield smears dirt across the entire camera housing area. Making auto pilot and FSD unuseable even in perfectly acceptable weather conditions. I received my truck on Dec 23 2024 with a vin ending in 039xxx

Mine has worked well AFTER the replacement of the wiper motor. They swapped out the entire arm, wiper assembly including a differently designed wiper that has been working much better for me. Applies washing fluid evenly, no streaks. However, no, I don't expect that it'll work well as an ice scraper.
agree. Get motor and wiper replaced. It’s a recall. Mine is perfect ever since!

My local service centre has said that there isn’t a fix yet. What should I do if they’re unaware of the recall, new motor procedure?

I had service done today, unfortunately I didn't have time to take video or photos before it got dark. The SC agent said that motor and wiper were replaced. However looking at the invoice, I'm not sure if motor was replaced. I was able to see that the jets are spraying a bit further out than before and I see more fluid. You guys tell me what you think based on this:
