Fixed Vault Cargo Divider replacements being sent by Tesla

I have not received my replacement yet but was notified that it shipped. I cannot use my original one past where the extra storage opens up on the bed. But Im looking at all these pictures, and they seems to say that the issue is at the actual latch but I think the FEET on the divider and not long enough to lay flat on the bed.

Did you have to complain to get it or was it just shipped to you?

I got the notification that they found an issue and they would ship. Ill correct my last post...I did not receive notification of shipment but that " A replacement has been Processed for Your Order " and that it would happen in 5-7 days. I received this on April 29th. I never once called or reached out to Tesla on the divider, They just sent all this info to me

Just got this email. I have had zero issues with current one. Works in every location in the bed and latches perfect.

If you are getting rid 0f the old one. Might be interested in buying it from you since I intend to use it at the midpoint anyway.

I just got my replacement today

can you show us the bottom side like this? My theory is that the bottom of the divider is what has been adjusted. As another user her tipped us off, the rubber feet do not make contact with the bed depending on the clearances in the bed floor. If the rubber feet stick down further on the new one, that would mean the new one will solve the issues people were experiencing.

See how on mine, the rubber foot cannot reach the floor of the bed because the corrugated section is so tall?

I think the replacements only deal with an issue with the latching mechanism itself—not the feet/position on the bed.

To correct that, you’ll need a new bed.

I think the latching mechanism only broke because people had this issue, and had to force the latch closed with more force than it's meant to handle

Maybe but I think there was actually a spring that wasn’t working correctly.
