Free supercharging for a few months! Congrats! Plan that epic summer road trip quickly!

Half way through my charge session on the Universal charger my power dropped from 48A to 24A. Anyone else ever run into this? I stopped the charge and the app showed 48A again and when I restarted it dropped back to 24A again.

Is the PCS really that reliable for failure? I've had my CT for 2 years (34k miles), charging split farily evenly between L2 and Supercharging, and not a hint of trouble. Am I just lucky? Am I UNlucky, in that I may not have the problem until out of warranty? So much noise about this, I'm getting a little nervous.

What rate do you charge L2? Full 48A?

Dropped it off for service today, got a loaner. Service center very cordial. No idea when part may come in. They reminded me I could avail myself of free supercharging but nearest supercharging is 35 miles away. And the clock starts ticking

PCS, submit service request and gain a few months of free supercharging while you wait for parts to arrive.
Tesla sent me a text saying that I had free supercharging while waiting for the part to arrive. I went to a supercharger to try it out because I had never used one before. I only put in a few kilowatts, but found Tesla charged me $3.31 at $0.55 per kilowatt. When I wrote back to service, they sent me another message saying they decided I no longer have a problem and did not activate free super charging.

What alerts show up in service mode?

Had a roadtrip planned, think it’s safe to go ahead with it?
I would not.
Edit. Someone mentioned it only affects AC charging not true I pulled out of my driveway it failed about 300 ft down the road and I could barely make it back to my driveway I had no power, Plus flashing red lights on the screen and beeping the whole reverse trip.
