The prototype had 2 panels come out of the tail gate so a 3 segmented ramp. Pretty steep even in the rear suspension in low position at the Peterson. But as seen in this pic it may be fully extended and looks like you could walk up it. The Quad they drove on had big tires so if your lawnmore has 6-8" wheels it might make it.

I'd like to have a ramp for my motorcycles. That's all. Would be cool to have integrated, for sure.

Does the Ford one have the width and capacity for a motorcycle?

the current “Ford one” is identical to an ICE F150

Yeah, I live in Vermont, so it's pretty rural, too. Most vehicles are trucks. I guess I'm just getting fed up with prices going through the roof and what you get for your money goes down. It's just one more broken promise by Tesla. I guess I should be used to it, but it's not in my nature to give my word only to renege, and it bothers me more than I can say when others do it.
I can understand the frustration with Tesla making lofty promises and under delivering on some. But they do better than most. I’ve seen some amazing concepts from all makers. I actually think Tesla does a better job of making cars that actually look like the concepts.
In a way Tesla has disrupted the industry by doing so.

Bring IT Tailgates has a tailgate that has a panel that swings up 90 degrees from the top pivot, practically extends the gate by 2', and with built-in ramps, this could be our solution if Tesla doesn't include the built-in ramp. BTW YouTube has some scary videos of people falling off their machines trying to get onto the bed, just search for "bringit tailgate".
With the CT in Kneel mode, the step up could be only a foot or so, so can someone calculate what the step up is again by adding 2' to the height of the tailgate?

Interesting. Full replacement of original tailgate.

---------------------------------

partial transcript:

"is made of high strength steel and is powder coated inside and out to prevent rust in addition many of the parts like the ramps and the slide and everything are stainless steel or the ramps which are aluminum all this keep the rust away.

As you've probably discovered there is no other tailgate like this.

Most of the gates you buy now on your truck simply help you get in and out of the truck they don't help you put anything or take anything out of your truck and why do you buy a truck to put stuff in it and that's what we're going to help you with"

---------------------------------

The BringIt Multi-Function Tailgate is a patented tailgate with an integrated, folding extension that replaces your factory tailgate.

This extension can lock in two positions. First at the level position. This will extend the length of your cargo bed by two feet to help securely carry long loads.

The extension can be used as a barrier to keep loads from shifting inside the bed when it is placed in the barrier position.

The extension can also be lowered to the ramp loading position. This forms the basis of a loading ramp. Stored inside the BringIt Tailgate are two aluminum Ride Inside Ramps that attach to the extension in multiple locations.

You now have a traditional 6 foot ramp system that provide easy access to the cargo bed for wheeled vehicles and equipment such as an ATV, a motorcycle, hand truck or whatever you need to load.

But there is more... The Switchback Dual Action cameras show what's behind your truck no matter if your tailgate is open or closed. There are two cameras in the tailgate. One is the traditional backup camera that shows the bumper/trailer hitch view. When the tailgate is up, and the truck is in reverse, this camera is active. The second camera is at the top of the tailgate pointed towards the sky. When the tailgate is closed, this camera is off. When the tailgate is lowered past 45 degrees the traditional camera turns off and the “top” camera automatically activates. The camera display always shows the active camera.

With “Double Down” Durability and “Anyone-Can-Do-It” Installation maybe it is time for you to Extend Your Bed and Ramp Your Rig with BringIt.

A BringIt™ Multi-Function TOOLGate starts at $1954. Plus, you get a full functioning extension, ramps and much more! ALL BringIt TOOLGates include FREE SHIPPING

If by "step up" you mean the distance from the lip of the lowered tailgate to the ground, it's not a foot, it's probably more like two feet. We won't know for sure what that distance is until we know the spec's on the adjustable suspension when the truck is in the kneel/squat mode.

An answer to this question, with assumptions for those specs, can be found here: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...-ramp-inside-tailgate.9447/page-5#post-185994

So there are rumors that there'll be no slide out ramps from the tailgate, and if true it'd be hard to get onto the bed. Ford F150 has the optional slide out step and vertical grab bar and others have various fold down contractions in the tailgate. I'd be so disappointed if there's no easy way to get onto the bed, and so will my big 100 pound German Shepherd.
I don’t think it’s coming. It adds weight and complexity. They’ll probably just create an accessory for those that want a ramp.
