I highly doubt it due to weight and material cost.So the skin won't be 3 mil.
Are you linking to the same thing that someone else says is evidence of an exoskeleton? As I predicted
Commonly expressed in the form of a high-speed heavy-duty shopping cart "cart demon" crashing into the side of Cybertruck or the adjacent parked SUV/pickup truck whose door is carelessly flung open into the side of the Cybertruck......
Regardless, we still need the 3mm skin because of that damn sledgehammer
Yeah I'm guessing 3mm on the front and rear doors and frunk...prob 1.2 mil every where else.I highly doubt it due to weight and material cost.
The Cybertruck needs to remain affordable to sell in high volumes.
Yeah. Of course, saying that because it has doors means it's not an exoskeleton is like saying a beetle doesn't have an exoskeleton because it has wings that pop out.I think itâs pretty close to what they planned from the start. For example, the skin on the sale pillar area could never have been âstructuralâ and also have storage. The doors likewise.
Good luck at the âStrawman of the Yearâ awardsdoor skins could be considered "exoskeleton", but they in no way form a significant structural element of the main body like some have claimed.
