Yes, Tesla legally has to honor the FSD price for those who locked it in at the time of their reservation, because their website said “Lock in Full Self-Driving price!” on the pre-order page. Otherwise it’s false advertising and then everyone gets a fun class-action lawsuit. They promised FSD, and it's software. They'll be criminally liable if they break that promise.

Burger King had it right, and Tesla knows it, it’s how they’ve been selling their cars from the beginning. If you ordered a Model S P100 D with white seats, that’s what you got. No sales person trying to convince you to buy a different model because that’s what they had on the lot and they wanted to sell it immediately. And you know exactly what it costs when you order it, no wiggle-room or dealer markups or surprise charges. If you want it your way, go to Burger King
Order what you want, get what you want. We should expect to get what we order, especially in terms of pricing.
