Hi there, picked mine up Jan 2024 Vin around 700 (~16 months ownership). Currently have 11k miles

Overall I give the reliability a 9/10. I did have the rear inverter go out suddenly while driving at around 7k miles. I had to limp it to the service center on just the first motor and it was there for 3 weeks. Other than that there were no reliability issues.

Fit and Finish 9.5/10. I also had the A pillar rattle in the early days which took 3 service visits to fix. I had a terrible center console squeak that also took 3 visits to fix. Two doors have needed adjustment due to rattle when closing but that was quick and minor. Other than that no issues.

I'm also aware that many of the repeat service visits for these issues were because in my area the truck was the first one they had seen so it's understandable it takes time to work out the fixes. The service center was always great and the loaner was usually an S Plaid or an X Plaid.

I'd also like to say that so far I've had the privilege of owning all the models except the newest refreshed Y and the Cybertruck has by far been the best fit and finish of any of them.

VIN in the 6000s, no issues aside from a rattle or two in the cabin

When using FSD, we are receiving error message to take control and FSD is disabled. Also, error messages includes Parking Brake Disabled; Automatic Braking Disengaged and PARK displayed on the screen instead of Drive. We can drive but not using Cruise Control or Navigation features. We stop and Power Off the truck and restart from beginning. This happens intermittently…. Some days we never see it and some days it just happens over and over.
In addition, the front right wheel cover fell off in a parking lot for no apparent reason. We recovered it and reinstalled it following YouTube video direction.
Has anyone else had these issues?

FS/June 2024 ~ 6K. Few 'adjustments' for noise and rattling. Overall no drive train issues ?? So much fun driving, and is still an eye catcher in matt black wrap.
BTW any new car launch will have issues/tweeks, and not sure what is the point of this survey...

Only repair besides the recall stuff was the air suspension. I had errors of not able to raise. It started with an error once in awhile to almost every day. Tesla fixed it and now no problems.

I’m curious about everyone’s experience with Cybertruck reliability. Please vote and share your mileage to help us understand how these trucks are holding up!
No known issues, still in the box, won’t know till crack it open and see if it’s a lemon?!

Budget constraints. LOL ?

AWD FS 18,000. Almost 1 year.
Fantastic vehicle! Love it. Only had a squeaky steering wheel that service fixed besides the recall items. Had service deal with leaky vault cover and they added a slat that has helped.

I believe this poll to be completely earnest, but it demonstrates how difficult tests and measures are. I believe that my truck has been “mostly reliable.” I only had to have the tonneau cover fixed, some minor fit and finish issues from delivery, and software glitch regarding the inverters.

As written, however, the poll— if I’m honest, kicks me out of that category. Multiply this by 1000 for political polls where you can get the answer that you want by how you frame the question.

This is why Mark Twain said there are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics!

Got it last August and a little over 16k miles (never had more than 10k in a year on a vehicle before).
Had to have some software repushes.
Had the tonneau slat added.
Tire foam issue.
A couple other small things.

As far as trusting it for a trip, I'm planning on doing a Virginia to Nevada trip in a little while.

I had to have my window switch on the driver's door replaced because it broke. I wouldn't qualify that as enough reason to put my vote in Moderately reliable, but that's how I voted. Other than that, it's been 18,000+ with no issues.

Assuming reliability equates to needing to go to service, the question remains if recalls count towards that visit count. Outside of the recall I had one reason to go to service - my driver side external door button stopped working and had to be replaced. That makes the car super reliable if you ask me. But I did take it 3 times so far for various recalls and still need to do the cantrails. You tell me if that makes it reliable or not.

Good to see this. All my issues came at pick up. Had several issues that I documented on this forum all of which were not fixed correctly requiring multiple return visits to the SC. All were relatively small issues in the scheme of things but incredibly annoying and inconvenient. NOW I am so happy and satisfied with the CT....does everything I expected and MUCH MORE, no regrets and enjoying each and every drive/ride. Always on the look out for the next Software Update!

Got mine in early Oct NFS. Had one issue with broken window switch on DS. Fixed, Nothing else. Very reliable and great ride. Love the CT. Been great for hauling things around. Great on trips. I am going to mirror polish it myself soon. Best ratings from me. 10/10
