I am not sure the influencer thing worked this time around for the Cybertruck. The early handoffs were for people to test extremes for clicks and views.

I know it is a truck, but just sprinkling it amongst traditional stars/hollywood would reduce negative performance aspects from mainstream view.

are you suggesting it performed badly? I mean, the only times it went through were repeat hits in the same spot. so i would say it did pretty awesome

Maybe look at what I said. Maybe you missed the testing from out of spec and other influencers.

Influencers. Used the the term indicating more than one. Also known as plural.

One more time.

Not sure Tesla giving the Cybertruck this time around to influencers was a positive. That move hasn't really highlighted positives of the truck. Yet when we see it in the hands of normal people loading drywall it seems like a good look. Numbers for range seem more real. Less drama more use.

A few people said Hey I hear the Cybertruck only goes 180 miles after the out of spec review. Have fun with that.....

You umm got real defensive there lol

I think influencers are the only real Tesla advertising for CT. The age of, oh look that celeb has it and didn't say anything about it but it must be cool cause they're a celeb, are over.

The haters are gonna stay haters and the influencers that actually show the data aren't being negative. I personally didn't take out of specs coverage as negative but I guess everyone interprets it differently.

No publicity is bad publicity and all that.

Also, the plural "influencers" wasn't in your first post lol so that line of your response as well as the general clenching you did while writing it were unnecessary

Tesla doesn't treat influencers any different than regular people. Unless your MKBHD. Actually, they let him review it BUT based on his recent post it looks like HE just got his recently as well.

We still don't know how @denniscw got his cybertruck so early when only employees were getting it.
He clearly isn't or wasn't an employee for Tesla based on all his previous tesla videos. He even put his order in 12/8 like the rest of us asking if anyone had a VIN.

Yet somehow he was able to suddenly get his truck from Austin. Has he ever shared those details?

Tesla should care more for influencers and treat them better since they are the ones that promote Tesla but unfortunately it's not the case.

in ABSOLUTELY NO WAY should influencers be treated differently or be given trucks faster.
that is the entire problem.
