Exactly, even at $2,300 these crooks charged him $300/hr. That's way more than my attorney's rates. Electricians are more around $75-$100/hr. And not sure why they sent two guys, this is a one man job.
I am being charged an enormous rate. There is one company covering my state, as far as I can tell. Each install this company does will max out that Tesla $4000 beast price coverage regardless of whether you have the beast or not. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of options at the moment so I will proceed knowing that I'm getting taken advantage of.

The Powerwall installer that came to give me a bid said it was one price to have it drive five of my breakers and about $1200 more if I wanted to have it drive a few more. Meaning I have to decide which rooms I'd want to have lights working, if I want both refrigerators to work, do I want the A/C to work or save that to power some other item or room.

This makes it sound like the entire panel is powered (meaning every outlet/circuit in the house)???
I don't believe they are correct. I'm pretty sure

The Gateway goes between the meter and panel, so all circuits on your panel are automatically backed up. Dude was lying or ignorant

Electricians should get more than an attorney.

Excellent explanation. Thank you.
My setup will be similar to yours. No Solar, no powerwall. I do have a Tesla charger and breaker box already installed so insertion of the gateway will be to replace the current breaker box only.

Can someone tell me if I need anything else to PowerShare with my house, battery backup and solar system? This is the installed diagram of what I have with the system I had installed last July. I guess I need direction.

You can't teach people to do it without sending two. Two is less likely to make errors. Lots of very good reasons to work in teams of two.

That's not how the installers are doing it.

What the heck happen to the Powershare Gateway Home Back-up for the Cyberbeast Installation credit of up to $4,000.00. I just got a Cyberbeast and told go pay for it yourself. Thanks Elon for the $20,000 surcharge plus no one from Tesla will give me a answer but they did send me the Powershare Gateway and on there website they Required: You must be in contract with a certified installer before purchasing Powershare Home Backup Bundle.
