Love mine, for sure the most useful accessory I have. I even adapted it to accommodate 2 bikes in the bed using fork mount mounts.

With all my previous trucks (five) I would reach over and place most miscellaneous items at the front of the bed, up against the cab. Tying them down there, if necessary.

With the Cybertruck, you can't do that (unless you're an NBA player). So you end up putting most such miscellaneous stuff in the back of the bed, via the tailgate. If that stuff then slides forward, you end up having to physically climb up into the bed to retrieve it.

The Vault Divider fixes that, keeping stuff in the rear of the bed. Works a treat. I've hauled feed, bales of poultry bedding, trash, and all of my considerable benchrest equipment (a type of rifle competition).

If you need the full bed, the divider removes (and installs later, when you're done) in about 10 seconds.

Worth every penny.

Hi all,
So, for some weird reason, I thought the vault divider came with the FS, but was sadly mistaken. Went to order one from the Tesla Shop just to realize it cost $350. Quite a jaw dropping price. Come on, Tesla!

Question for the group, is it worth the price? I know many of you had troubles installing it. I feel like I have to get it to prevent totes and other items from sliding around, but $350?!?! *sigh*

I wish there was aftermarket versions available.
It is definitely a lot. It was hard to pull the trigger but I’m glad I did. It makes it so much easier to move things without having to tie it down. It’s perfect for things like going Costco shopping and smaller items. Also, taking it out to load the truck up completely takes seconds. I’m 100% satisfied and glad I picked it up.

Thanks for these details!

For my uses, I think it's worth it. I have specialized gear mounted to it while also using it to secure totes when I'm doing S&R stuff. So I can throw it in, mount it, and I'm done. But if you don't have an application for it, totally skip it!

I have so many aftermarket things I want! But I think it's just a waiting game for companies to put stuff out there.

There's a good chance you will have trouble locking it in the L track if you get one. The simplest fix is to file down the top of the plastic cleat, keeping the same rounded shape, until it fits without too much force. Poor design wrt bed flatness and tolerance.

I would not file down anything, personally. If you get a divider and it does not fit make a service appointment to have them change the vault section that is out of whack. Based on what others have said after Tesla replaced the vault section things fit fine.

350 is cheap. I use two of them and a set of the Tesla bins. I used my credit from Foundation purchase. Also get the rear under seat storage in it is amazing.

I ended spending my voucher on accessories since our solar array is being postponed. I'm not sure if the molle accessories are overpriced but I suspect not given prior experience with accessories. If they are solid and well fit I'd say its a good deal.

If you need something like that, for example to wall off an area or to keep things from sliding around, this does the job. I had an awful time with mine; I put it in the bed, lifted the handles, oriented it where I wanted, and closed the handles. No one should have to spend a full minute installing something like this :)
