No, you are saying that Tesla will act like any other money-grubbing business, but they won't. They do not adjust prices to balance demand. They only adjust prices if their costs change. So it makes no sense to you which suggests to me that you are in that camp or at least believe that that camp does things the right way. And by that camp, if not obvious, I mean those for whom profit drives everything. Tesla has a vision for the world and it trumps profit to a large degree.
only paritally true.. they establish a price they want to sale at and maintain it.. UNTIL inventory starts to back up.. THEN they lower the price/add incentives.
so they DO adjust based on demand just generally only adjusting downward.
