What did they put in the frunk? Is there a random CT with a golden ticket in the frunk like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Keep those eyes peeled. It's that one right there... Don't loose track of where it is.
They have that cover over the hood that they have to put on for transport and then close the lid.

From overhead, it looks like one could fit an average sized person in the frunk.

I was hoping it wouldn't be. Have had 3 power trunk strut failures on my Model 3, and at this point I'd rather just have one less thing to go wrong.
I actually agree. Frequently powered boot covers seem more trouble than they’re worth. They’re actually slower than just slamming it the old way. Plus more difficult to compress when packed to the brim. I’d be happy with a non powered one, as long as there’s an easy button to open it and it’s not as delicate as the Model 3 one.

My observations.
1. As the hood is lowered, he removes his hand a few times. The hood does not move back up, like it does on frunks with struts.
2. To fully close the hood, there is no "two hand" push-to-close motion you would see on other strutted frunks.
3. If it is powered why didn't he just simply press the close button. :ROFLMAO:

that would assume these are fully functioning/powered units, or he has the “keys”

if it’s being sent into a wall at 35mph, or being engineer-tested for FSD, no need to get every giblet hooked up

My Lightning’s Frunk is powered, and looks much like this if trying to close the hood manually
