Looks like most of the ones we see are pretty thick. Tailgates a bit fuzzy though.

Adding some close-up stills to go with an earlier video. Spotted in Sausalito, CA with TX plates. I'm sure build quality does not represent the final product. Given that this is a prototype there's a lot that can be improved.​

You can see where data collection equipment gets connected inside the vehicle on the passenger seat. In the earlier video you can see some cables going under the vehicle, likely to some sensors underneath (battery monitoring?).​

Cool angle, but I’d hate to get caught on those sharp edges getting in and out of the vault. Ouch. ?

It needs a screen displaying a wide angle shot from the rear camera given that you probably can’t see out of the back very well even with the vault open. I hope Tesla follows through with this because putting everything on the center display all the time it too cumbersome and distracting.

The storage tunnel is a really cool idea. I like how you can access it from the cabin. I hope you’ll be able to access the vault from the cabin of the CT.

Ugh. I wish we were seeing something closer to a shippable sample, even for RC units - - makes me think we may be further off than hoped for launch.
Will be very disappointed if October ticks by without another update from Tesla

I dunno about this rearview.

but It’s been a LONG time since we’ve seen an obviously digital screen lit up, and we’ve at this point seen tons of nighttime driving, interior ambient lighting, and all sorts of things that would seem as easily spotted as a digital rearview in active mode.

On one hand, given rearward visibility I’d be surprised it doesn’t have it. On the other hand, I’ve been plenty of surprised before!
