Could be legit....price is about what I think a tri motor would be. If dual motor was also raised by the same percentage then about $63k, my guess was $65k....time will tell.

don’t worry, it’s fake
No worries...

Thing is closer we get the more likely it becomes, but I dunno what Teslas NDA looks like, nor when they will hand out contracts, so technically we shouldn't see any pre-release details anyway.

Post is gone.

Anyone remember any details from it? What was the TM price? Thx
I normally do a screen grab just in case if I think it's worthwhile.

$87k is roughly what I expected for the Tri. I knew it would be priced higher than a $79,900 Dual Motor Model X.

If the post is true the Tri came in $17k higher than the 2019 price of $70k.

That would put the Dual Motor at $67,900 if you add $17k to the $50k 2019 price.

If this was real (its not), the reddit poster actually said the price was $79,990 if you didn't select any options. The $86,990 price was with the options they selected.

The options they listed are one of the dead giveaways that its a fake, as they listed midgate and vault ramp as "options". The midgate is pretty thoroughly debunked based on pictures, and if it did exist it would be incredibly unlikely to be an option instead of on all vehicles.

So, doubt this is confirmation of any pricing.

If this was real, I would be pretty happy as a price of $79,990 for a tri-motor with 510 miles of range (another detail the reddit poster said it had) would be very close to the announcement when you factor in the tax credit.

$79,900 for the Tri Motor would be a great value.

I don’t think a $10k price increase would scare away any TrI Motor reservation holders.
I agree. At release specs I think it would be a very good value. I kind of wish this was real, but its a pretty obvious fake.

Keep in mind that a $80k Cybertruck is $7500 more expensive than a $79,999 one.

I expect all trims at reveal to be under the $79k limit.
I hope that’s true, but golly I have lots of self doubt about the performance, the fastest production truck ever built, being less than $80K

for those wanting a performance (I don’t), fingers crossed for you!

Does anyone know if this becomes the case that Tri-Motor base model qualifies for EV Tax Credit, what if you select one option, be it wheels, FSD, etc, and it goes over $80k, do you lose the credit? Or would any added options, or even taxes, title, etc not count in the EV tax credit limit and it still be applicable since base price is under?
