It was well worth discussing again as a possible nugget was shared by
IJNYamato on the lockers
I go in cycles, from OCDing on this forum [refresh, refresh, refresh] to getting so annoyed by stupid speculation and trolls to the point of ignoring it for a couple of weeks which means I might miss a few threads. But at least when I’m away y’all don’t have to suffer as much with my sophomoric sense of humor.

Oh, I don't come here for news anymore. I have tired of the speculation.

I come here for the sophomoric humor and sarcasm.

As one of the few people here who actually appear to be in the know, so to speak, does that mean you are saying there are lockable diffs on the Cybertruck? That indeed would be news…

The video pretty much looks exactly like going up something like this without lockable diffs. I have so far strongly assumed Tesla will not add locks.

Oh shit, did I say lockers. Whoopsies.
Guess we’ll find out on the 30th
An interesting nugget right there.

The announced Ram 1500 Ramcharger's rear module is equipped with an optional
electronic rear axle locker.

3rd parties offer 'limited Slip Differentials' on the Tesla Model 3 and Y:

"The Unplugged Performance Limited Slip Differential is a direct drop-in replacement for the stock Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y open differentials. The purpose of these LSD units is to improve the distribution of power between wheels without using the brakes and stability control software. This physical Limited Slip Differential helps put more power to the ground without slowing the vehicle unnecessarily in conditions where one or more wheels lose traction, such as high-g-force cornering, off-roading, and driving in inclement conditions like snow and ice."

Very cool, might do this… but not until the warranty has expired…
And the cost to have it installed cannot be cheap either…
$2,195 per diff is… eye watering.

Yeah, that's steep, they make good stuff but their pricing is rough...that being said, if it's actually needed for the CT then I'd consider it!

More than good enough for me.

Get ready, steady as 'she goes, she goes, she just goes' (Kylie Mole)
When you take your CT out, it gets all the 'STARES'
