Anybody know what wire(s) that ferrite is placed around? That could be diagnostic for what is possibly causing the failure. Ferrites are used for filtering. Often for decreasing transient spikes.Got mine replaced today. SC did it in one day. Dropped off at 7am, picked up at 4pm.

Alerts tabHow do we pull error codes from the service menu to see if there’s any PCS issues proactively. I know how to get into the service menu, but where do I go from there to look for codes specific to the PCS. I only supercharge exclusively so I don’t have any Evidence of even early PCS failure since I don’t level 2 charge.
also, someone mentioned that the PCS is covered on the 2026 cyber trucks?
I don’t believe that’s correct. All the warranty changes for 2026 with the new power system warranty exclude cyber truck so there’s no change to the PCS coverage as far as I understand please correct me if I’m wrong.
Just had mine replaced. Foundation Beast VIN 27xxx with 29k miles. Randomly noticed charging at 24/24 at home vs. 48/48. Checked service mode and there it was. Mine was for unhealthy DC tank.
Made service appointment in app and it was two weeks out. The next morning they messaged me and moved the appointment up to next day. Dropped it off on a Thursday morning and picked it up fixed on a Friday afternoon.
Basically, Tesla got me in two days after I requested service, gave me a loaner, and fixed it in a day after drop off for free. YMMV, but I think I’ve got a killer service team nearby.
***-Yes you have a GREAT local service team!...we have TWO SC in our city...and it has gone from 4 weeks to 2 weeks for service..My PCS Alert today...VIN 69XX; 43LK miles 2024 FS AWD. GROK suggest that Tesla not only replace PCS , but Power Inverter too! (PCS convert AC from Home to DC for the Battery; While power inverters converts DC to AC for the motors)
I agree, as a first edition vehicle, they should take care of the issue under warranty and customer good will. However, Tesla demonstrates little interest in 'Goodwill' once the purchase has been made.If it handles propulsion, then why isn't the part covered under the battery and powertrain warranty?
I would be leaning heavily on reported electrical issues that were discovered prior to the warranty expiration.
Maybe it's the tone you are using with the Tesla personnel? I have had the opposite experience.I agree, as a first edition vehicle, they should take care of the issue under warranty and customer good will. However, Tesla demonstrates little interest in 'Goodwill' once the purchase has been made.
same hereMaybe it's the tone you are using with the Tesla personnel? I have had the opposite experience.
It is hard to have a tone, via app chats. I am used to person-to-person.Maybe it's the tone you are using with the Tesla personnel? I have had the opposite experience.
