I charge exclusively at Superchargers cause I don't have a home charger. Maybe I should test a level 2 to see if I can get free super charging for awhile.

For the free charging, service centers fill out a document on the pc and send it up the chain, big wig has to push the approve button. You will not get an alert when it’s activated, wait a week checking the specs and warranty spot for the change.
Thanks. I'll check in a week or so.

Welp, according to in app msg from SC, I don't get the free supercharging because they say my truck doesn't have the PCS problems. Yeah, I'm not entirely convinced and "will monitor the situation". I was able to charge at 48A overnight once I got the truck back from service.

It’s interesting, every time I see a CT driver, I ask if they had a PCS failure. Have not met one that incurred this anomaly. One of my neighbors (June 24 AWD) drove his until 60k miles at which time he sold it. Well,I keep my fingers crossed.
I was you until 2 days ago .. confident i survived because i charged all winter with 30 amp plug And no issues.. drive back up the Alaska highway . Start charging on AC again and boom it happened . First tesla wall charger dropped to 24 amps. and quickly went into service mode and confirmed the alert of a PCS failure I quickly filed a service ticket with Tesla and they immediately confirmed I indeed had a PCS failure and need to schedule a service appointment. 12:30 am the next morning the charging stop and had total failure of the AC charging . Now only can DC fast charge . That’s a bummer.. the closest DC fast charger is 65 miles away.. thats life in the far north .

Sadly I joined the fraternity of brothers with PCS failures yesterday.

Went on a 300ish mile long trip (150 each way) and charged for 5-10 minutes at the halfway point just to be safe. I got home with 8% remaining, and plugged in to my Tesla wall charger. That's when I noticed it was only charging at 24A. Tried our other Tesla wall charger we have and it too was 24A. Filed a ticket with Service and they verified it was a failure, said no parts are currently available, and gave free supercharging. They also didn't have an ETA on the part...

Just for statistics sake, it's a very early 2024 Foundation Series (under 2,000 VIN) AWD with a little less than 20k miles.

maybe, go into service mode and view those alerts. Should be a pcs error in there along with those. Either way, schedule you a service they can remote diagnostics it and confirm. The may not restart message would have me scared to take it outta my driveway.

I had my left camera stop working while on FSD. I went into service mode and saw a bunch of these errors.

Never seen it before in service mode. Truck still charges and seems normal. No error on the screen when I'm not in service mode.
