Because there are so many Tesla fanboys and apologists. They will just flood the post, with "well you bought a 1st version", "you knew you would be a beta tester", etc. The difference is, real beta testers don't pay for the product, we are paying.
Ehh kind of on the beta tester thing. Apple beta tests their shit on paying customers all the time. They’re even worse than Tesla with that! ??

Now alpha testing, that shit should be free….

Of course that's true but doesn't seem like a few to me.

Still doesn't make it okay to install the seat belts incorrectly or send a windshield wiper DOA on a 100K car. But like I said I myself justify these issues.

Don't mean to ruffle your feathers but your post and responses throughout the forum are exemplary of my point.

Yes, the absolute number of problems will grow (merely by the increasing numbers) but let's not be naive about the relative % and most importantly the follow up service experience.

I actually feel bad for the SC folks and catch myself saying "it's okay if you haven't replied.. nor called back as promised... or completed the repair in X days etc etc... I know their busting their asses to keep us happy but still doesn't make it okay...

Thank you for posting your experience. I think the tesla apparel wearing fan bois are trying to bully people into being silent and any criticism of anything related to tesla is labeled FUD.

FUD has become their favorite word to spew out anytime anyone says less than glowing praises of the brand. Its Alex Jones level retarted conspiracy theories that now require pictures and videos, otherwise you're labeled a secret agent of the evil legacy auto.

Im hoping by the time i take delivery of my CT, the product and service has improved. Im just glad i waited a bit to place my reservation.
Another ridiculous post by someone who has a “$100” investment in the product. The OP produced a list based on social media nonsense (most of which he hadn’t experienced). FUD is a real tactic by Tesla haters to denigrate an engineering g achievement.

He didn’t post his experience. His title to the thread is troll bait.

Professor, you proved my point. In this community valid criticism of Tesla is an unpopular subject. This thread is a perfect example.

Fanboys are gonna fanboy. Enjoy the Koolaid. No matter how you try to spin it, Tesla's customer service is marginal at best and their build quality and quality control is subpar.
Customer service overall can improve, but to say that build quality and QC is subpar just loses you any credibility you think you had.

You can only lead a horse to water. You drank the Koolaid. You are willfully ignorant to MANY posts about poor build quality and quality control.

Here are just a few recent ones:

This truck was a disaster.
https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/panel-alignment-on-my-beast.16646/#post-315320

This person was all over the news for a truck that only made it 35 miles. A clear QC failure.
https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...til-a-problem-now-resolved.16878/#post-314124

Another set of issues on day 1.
https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/day-1-issues-yipeeee.16685/

It seems that they have not learned how to align panels from the very first deliveries.

This poor owner is waiting on a suspension fix since February.

Happy to discuss Tesla quality control and build quality. We do agree that their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

I know, you will shout FUD for me wanting to deal with facts. Or call me TSLAQ.

But... You're literally posting a list of problems without linking to solutions. You're not at all doing anything to inform us if this is an unusual number of problems or not.

You're abusing others who are having problems for your own entertainment. What is the point of that?

I get it, you are an apologist and fanboy.

It is Tesla's job to address these issues, not mine.

You have done nothing to prove that Tesla does not have subpar build quality and quality control. In fact, Tesla has a reputation for poor build quality, terrible panel gaps, etc.

You will now try to parse every world and make every excuse to explain why Tesla is great. I get it you are hoping Elon will notice you.

Do you have any demonstration of me being an apologist? What apology is it to say that linking to solutions is better than merely linking to problems?

Because all you seem to have is a posting history of insults.

As a fan of Tesla and early adopter of the Model X, I have asked myself multiple times why I subject myself over and over again with quality and service issues.

Regardless of being the first of its kind, issues regarding the foundation CTs continue to grow.

***THESE ARE NOT ISSUES I'VE HAD WITH MY TRUCK PERSONALLY BUT NOTED ACROSS FORUMS/X***

1. Bricking due to charging issues/PCS/HV/harness
2. Bricking after car wash
3. Tonneau cover gap
4. Water damage to tonneau cover buttons
5. Overhead gear selector popping/dropping
6. Panels flying off
7. Windshield cracking/deformity
8. Windshield wiper motor not working
9. Rear doors not opening 90 degrees
10. Seatbelts installed incorrectly
11. Screen blacking out
...

On top of that, service is backed up, takes forever to get parts, repair itself takes days to weeks, and worse part of it all... poor communication...

I've already had my front windshield replaced, wiper motor replaced, gear selector fixed, and now find myself waiting on a side mirror replacement.

I repeatedly convince myself that it's okay and find myself justifying the situation. Like a bad/unhealthy relationship you keep on going back for more abuse. Not only am I complacent, I defend the behavior by saying,

"It's a Tesla.."
"Small price to pay as an early adopter..."
"I knew what I was getting into..."

It's sad, foolish and so egregious that it's comical. Never did I allow this with my other cars.

Yet I sit in the 100K+ car, being towed left and right, smiling and secretly hoping that it won't brick while my kids are riding in the back.

On a side note, anyone with a CT that is working without issues for more than month or two (with a couple of thousand miles+)?
Thank God I'm 330,000 in line ~~ Fix all these kinks ~

Only 500 miles on my AWD so far, but almost perfect and absolutely mind-blowing!

- Good (though rushed) delivery experience
- No panel gaps, no misalignment
- Tonneau Cover perfect and functional (though it won’t fully close from the phone app)
- Incredible handling and ride quality
- No Display issues

My biggest critique is the fingerprint issue… wrap coming soon.

On another note, calling people “fan boys” in a forum isn’t helpful. It seems most everyone here is sharing their experiences (including OP). This is a healthy forum for communication and I’d prefer to assume positive intent from all posters until proven otherwise.

Watching this video and one of the frunk tub bolts was not fastened all the way down (minor).
Also his windshield wiper fluid system was leaking all over when attempting to use it. It was barely putting anything on the windshield.
