I already have frunks, so I am maybe the exception here... But I don't use it much and don't see that changing too much on Cybertruck.
how long have you been driving trucks?

Any chance a M3 micro twunk is less useful than a full sized one?

I teased at you yesterday that "wasn't I right?!" about how this frunk sits. I've said the frunk will work like a Lucid trunk since April, when I first saw it open.
yes, you’ve been very consistent in insinuating youā€˜ve long ago seen the Frunk first hand and even have photos, but of course can’t say more - you know, just enough info for the clout

the rest of us mortals, without a cheat sheet, have been making due!

tbh, I find your ā€œintelā€ so unreliable and/or cloaked in a fog of hopium, I ignore it

In any event, I think the CT Frunk will be extremely useful to ICE truck drivers converting to BEV for the first time; and that people who don’t really drive trucks can’t quite yet evaluate how useful they’ll come to find a frunk

I think it would be funny it Tesla was just trolling us with those frunk pics. What if they made a panel with a bunch of technical looking things and put it in the normally cavernous frunk just to mess with us. Do it on two of the trucks when the emphasis was "supposed" to be on one of them (F150 wrap). That would be next level trolling.

Hilarious, when this hit the streets in volume the precious F-150 will be officially DOD, or 'dead in the water' for any new sales.
DIW I understand shipmate.

Its amazing how much storage space some people need. if the frunk is too small for you, and the bed, and the cabin, maybe get a van? maybe an E-transit
I can understand your reply but I will say that with a truck, once you experience how usefull the frunk is, you understand our hope to have a Lightning type frunk. It really is one of the things I enjoy and use often.

I'm not back pedaling per sey, but accepting the circumstance and not worried about it.

When I called it a "mega frunk"(I was the first to do so in the Tweet where I actually showed it off open), I referred to HOW it opens versus the capacity. I teased at you yesterday that "wasn't I right?!" about how this frunk sits. I've said the frunk will work like a Lucid trunk since April, when I first saw it open.

Would more storage be cool? Sure. But it's largely unnecessary up front there. I'll still take my ~6.5' bed with a 16" deep frunk over a 5.5' bed with a massive 3' deep frunk that I won't use for much more than a backpack. That's all I really ever planned on putting in it.

There it is! We finally know what Elon meant when he announced that Tesla would experiment with spending $$ on marketing. Well done Elon - cheap, but effective!

before you invented ā€œMega Frunk,ā€ Ford trademarked it and the media reported on it nonstop since mid-2021

If you are using it like a car or an SUV then I'd agree but used as a work truck space is a necessity.

Many pickup users have a locking toolbox in the bed which can be accesed from the sides of the truck, it takes space from the bed but you have no choice in an ICE truck. It looks like you can still put a locking box in the bed of the CT but the only way to access it would be to actually go in the bed each time . The F150 Frunk can be used as an alternate to a lockbox , you can secure all your tools in there as well as having the power sockets and keep all of your bed space. I belive many people were hoping that the CT frunk would be large enough to do the same (which it still may be) . We'll need to wait for the reveal..
I do think it's still large enough for that.

I agree, for practical purposes, it may be useless dash space.

The alternative may have been to shrink the windscreen and move that slither of space and hide it.

Space can be a good thing sometimes. I think I like the openness rather than the traditional look.

Anybody see a winch or space enough for a winch?
a winch inside the Frunk?

there’s plenty volume for it

but who knows if there’s any sufficient frame attachment? they’d have to install something between casting rails?

And I don’t see a way one could install hawse or fairleads
