Fixed Vault Cargo Divider replacements being sent by Tesla

No specific online instructions. It just seemed to be the issue when I was trying to figure out why the divider was not fitting appropriately. I used a 10 mm allen socket at each of the sites circled. The tie down spots have the bolts exposed. I used a flathead screwdriver to pop off the rectangular caps covering the other bolt locations. I did not remove the bolts completely, but probably fine either way. This allowed me to get the divider in place with some coaxing. Once it was fully seated, then I tightened the bolts. Photos attached.

Did you buy those D-rings or did it come installed as they advertised on foundation series? I'm missing em, gonna have to reach out..

They came installed, and are part of the Foundation series package. I have a Beast, but do not believe that would matter vs AWD.

All foundation series should have them. Definitely reach out to Tesla.

Crap! I just received today (6/17/2024). Ordered last week. Won't fit. Same problem and the ends do have the flats on them. Ridges in bed cause it to sit too high to latch!!!

Add another one to the list that doesn't fit. Divider received 6/14. CB is a an early May build, if that matters.

Mine was only latching on one side but I got it to work by putting some down pressure on it. I pushed on the edge of the divider that was not latching while closing the latch. There is a bit of flexibility and it was enough for it to line up even though it seemed too high at first.

Thanks to this thread I just received a replacement cargo divider?. My latch completely broke off when I tried to move the divider to a deeper part of the bed. I reached out to Tesla directly. They asked for some pics and said they would send a replacement and I would need to send back the broken one.. For anyone whose divider is broken and Tesla hasn't reached out here's the email address :[email protected]. Just email them your original order number and they will send a replacement.

Takes you to the Tesla website and you can submit question/request using the website form.

Same, just received my divided, works in the middle of the bed. But towards the tail gate, doesn’t fit at all. Seems like the floor is too high. It will latch on one side, but the other side sits too high

All foundation series should have them. Definitely reach out to Tesla.

Did you get 4 D-rings or 8? It looks like you have 4 on the sides and 4 on the bottom of the bed. I only had 4 on the sides, none on the bottom. I think website says 4 come with truck, so I figured I had them all.

Some sections that was doable, but other areas, I had to push it down with some force. Almost like I was going to break the mechanism. Not as intuitive as I thought it would be.

I think it's the floor. In the spots where it works, it's really easy and works great once it's locked in. No movement or rattling. It seems like we or Tesla just need to adjust the floor..
