Hi all, I was lucky to take delivery of my Beast WITH wheel covers in August about a month ago. I was washing the truck yesterday when I noticed the rubber trim on my wheel cover has separated on my front drivers side wheel. Has anyone seen this happen yet? Going to put in a service request but, yeah, disappointing.

Ah that stinks.

Note to self, when i finally do receive wheel covers sometime hopefully in this decade, do not power wash that rubber trim.
Nothing to do with washing. I use a hose on lower flow rate with no spray attachment along the top sides of the vehicle to keep water spots away. Had not washed the wheels at this point yet.

Hmm, that is no good. How do they appear to be attached? Glue or double sided tape?

I did not see any glue residue. If you look closely at the photos, there appear to be a couple series of small holes/dots that I assume the trim is (or, was) attached to.

Yeah i noticed those. Wondering if those are just guide holes or if the rubber has little spear like things that are supposed to secure into those holes(the holes seem kind of small for that). I'd imagine there should be some sort of adhesive either way.

Yeah that sucks. However, like many CT owners, we don’t know when we will receive ours as Tesla promised. In the meantime, new ones that’s being delivered come with them. Kind of unfair IMO.

Since many of us don't yet have the aero covers, you may not receive a lot of responses from owners since Tesla only started delivering CTs with aero covers lately.

It is unfortunate to see this happening. I hope it doesn't mean Tesla is going to re-redesign the covers again.

Soooo, another recall and then cancelling them all together I presume? Man, that sucks! Thanks for the heads up.
