Any chance for a picture of how you mount the lite version into the frunk @Our Cyber Weekend ?

I uploaded the two different mounts. one is the inexpensive mount made from Flat Stock and while it works, it is not ideal for quickly removing the frunk kit or any diy project. I added the ledge for the extruded aluminum to sit on because it would be difficulted to position a fully loaded frunk kit to the correct hight and try to get the bolt into the end of the aluminum. The main issue is that the mount blocks the head of the bolt that secures to the Cybertruck which is why you need to un do 8 bolts. You could turn the mount around but then there is the issue with less drawer space or having to remove all of the drawers to assemble. Trade offs I guess.

The premium Mount is machined so the heads do not interfere in any direction as you can see by the image. I also have a 3rd mount that is similar to the premium but only has fasteners in one direction and is slotted. The slot allows for more flexibility as there are very slight differences in the hole spacing for different cybertrucks. Learned from experience.

These Premium Mounts in the photos are for DIY Persons to use how they see fit. I ship the Premium Frunk Kit with the omni directional slotted mount.

The Premium Frunk kit has all the bells and whistles making the user experience wonderful

Does this install affect the crumple zone protection?

While I'm sure Tesla has tested it with the frunk loaded (and it's rated to hold 441 lbs.) I'm not sure about a large metal framed object.

I bought that plug to pass through the 5v. Behind it I have mounted a 48v to 5v buck converter. If I had to do it over, I would not use that plug. I would rather have one that feeds through the back with a nut on the Frunk side
