I post Cybertruck stuff on the Internet and people like it.

meaning true Betas must be on Austin's production lines...so in theory the true CT had yet to be seen. 🤯
I've said it before but I don't think that was the "finished" bed on Investor Day. It works for testing things, but specifically the passenger back wall, that looks boring and unfinished.

Not saying there is a mid gate or will be, I am very unsure on that... BUT. There's gonna be some neat little changes.

What I find very strange is that they are keeping the specifications a secret from us the very people who have placed pre-orders. Why are we not allowed to know the details of the product we are ordering?
What, are we expected to just have just blind faith??
Yes. You can always get a refund.

On the "exoskeleton" thing, it's exactly as Elon has said. They've moved weight to the outside, making the Sheetmetal plate metal, and more structural. It doesn't mean there's no internal parts. And yes, it's like other Teslas and unibody cars. The difference is, this is a full size truck, not a sedan. The first full size that's not body on frame. The thick skin will certainly be a part of the capability of the vehicle.

Anyone know what these are?

Those look like control arms on top and the bottom parts look air suspension assembly components. Looks like they need to build many more CT!

Declaring that the Cybertruck does not have, an exoskeleton, is essentially arguing engineering terminology with one of the worlds most accomplished engineers and also demonstrates a misunderstanding of the very meaning of the word.
Insects don't have bones. The Cybertruck has an internal structure, gigacastings, bones.

You are entitled to your opinion of course, but I happen to believe that there is no way that 3mm stainless could ever be anything but structural. Translate that statement as "you are full of s#$%" if you want. I really don't care 'what' Elon calls the 3mm stainless skin as long as it remains 3mm stainless and covers the entire exterior, because that means I never have to worry about dents and scratches ever again.
Words are useless if they don't have known meanings.

I agree though, that I really don't care if the "exoskeleton" is structural or non-structural, it's the toughness and lack of paint that I'm really after.

I'd disagree with anyone suggesting the thick skin isn't performing structural function in a full-sized unibody truck advertised to off-road, tow, and haul. It'll be fundamental.

With that long of a wheelbase/weight, a unibody truck practically requires a substantive 'exoskeleton' for the tortional rigidity needed behave under articulation without flexing the skin.

And for the CT's purported payload/towing, a unibody truck practically requires a substantive 'exoskeleton' to carry those loads and not flex the skin so bad the doors wont open.

Maybe because the specs are not yet final?

Too many pages to read, so sorry if this has been hit. But am I the only one who thinks its weird that they want to announce all the specs the same day that they deliver it? lol.

Guy who gets it is like wtf, this isnt what i ordered. lol

Yeah.... when I was a kid they used to sell a product called a Lucky Packet. You paid your cash and then opened it to see what sweets and toy were inside.
They are setting up the production line, as we speak, for maybe the first delivery in the 3rd quarter. They must know what they are going to be building. We are now only a quarter away and they can't/won't/don't want to give us more than vague details. Thats unacceptable to me.
You find the situation unacceptable? The solution is simple:

Cancel your reservation and get your $100 back! Do you understand the meaning of the word "unacceptable"? The only fool is you if you prolong unacceptable situations. Let those of us who accept the fact that the creator of such a magnificent vehicle gets to make the rules, all move up a place in line.

You need to understand that you are not in charge here because you did not create the Cybertruck and you are not amongst those who are going to be taking the initiative to put it into mass production so millions can make use of it.

They do not reveal specs or model details at investor calls.

Moving plastic molding around or bit of structural steel will change the trucks weighs and dimensions by an inch here and there. A slightly different battery cell formula will change the range. Power consumption of the new systems are estimates, they don't know for reals until they test them.

And Tesla will iterate even when they're coming down the pipeline.

So no, they don't know the specs yet.

That is literally not how cars, insects, or the Cybertruck works, so you're just gonna hafta be wrong.

Insects aren't chicken eggs. They have have shapes and ribbing on the inside layer of their carapaces to support their legs and others structures meeting. The body in white will be married with the outside panels to make the final shell.

The argument was answered here: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...oduction-line-photos-shown-📸.8318/post-146524
