Well - another issue just popped up. I was delivered my CT on the 24th without covers. No explanation other than they would be sending a tech to install the caps on the 1st.

Tomorrow is the 1st and I just received another message that they won’t be delivering becuase they are investigating all the covers and they won’t be delivering the caps until March.

this sounds a bit like nightmare you can’t make up. I get they are only the finish wheel hubs, but seems insane.

Anyone else having this issue?
My Ninja stars not coming?!? Come on now. 🧐🥺

A very small issue. Enjoy life in the meantime.

Im guessing You don’t have yours yet.
You are correct. Ordered 12/19. I will gladly drive it around sans-hubcaps until they ship them to me. I'm not a big fan of the aero covers anyway. I took them off our Model 3 a couple of days after delivery in 2018 and have never reinstalled them.

Interesting, thanks for the details.

I wonder if we get new covers that are similar in design, or these ones that were seen. These are growing on me a tiny bit from when i originally saw them, but i still prefer the originals.

what the hell is Tesla not telling us beyond the dumb aerocovers? They knew about this with all the driving they've done and didn't think to change this in 4 years? Any child would point this out and say "nope, not good. Gonna cause a blow out and kill people, this is dumb" So fn disappointed in the rush, the panels are glued to the truck too. What the hell cheap ass thinking went into this application? When it rains in winter at elevation and overnight it freezes those panels are going to get forced right off the truck after a few cycles. What is Tesla going to do for me after this surely happens. Would I get on the Starship and go to Mars in 4 years? Hell NOOOOO!!! About to cancel this order.

Obviously they didn't know, and no, panels are not glued to the truck.

You probably should cancel, you seem under a bit of duress. Or, just post up your reservation for sale like that other guy and Tesla will cancel it for you. :)

You know main stream auto press will report as “part of wheel of new Cybertruck recalled”
